Hello, Umasswr, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. License tagging for File:Jade wu.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Jade wu.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:31, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

An excellent start to your article Jade Wu. I wanted to bring a few issues to your attention:

  • The training module Sources and Citations will help you with proper format for footnotes and citations.
  • Your article is overly reliant on primary sources related to the subject of the article. Wikipedia encourages the use of independent secondary sources in articles. The training module Evaluating Articles and Sources can help you with this, or consider seeking assistance from your instructor or campus library.
  • The image you uploaded was deleted by another editor due to the lack of information about its copyright status. See our module Contributing Images and Media Files for more information on how to properly find and use images on Wikipedia.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Rob (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:43, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
