Speedy deletion nomination of Talking Ben

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Talking Ben requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Velella  Velella Talk   18:48, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to United Kingdom general election, 2015 has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 16:00, 7 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Stephen Pound. Your edits continue to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Stephen Pound was changed by Ukvoltaire123 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.86576 on 2015-05-08T17:44:48+00:00 .

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 17:44, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Stephen Pound, you may be blocked from editing. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 17:55, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Help

edit

Could you please explain what you're trying to do? It looks like you tried to move the Stephen Pound article, but the title it's at seems the best title. —C.Fred (talk) 18:02, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Two pages for Stevie!! Is that bad? --Ukvoltaire123 (talk) 18:04, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Ukvoltaire123Reply
Yes. There is no need for you to try to create a second page. —C.Fred (talk) 18:04, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Come on, give old Stevie two pages. Steve Pound is a lucky man!!--Ukvoltaire123 (talk) 18:06, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Ukvoltaire123Reply

If you have any valid resources to confirm that he is called by an alternate name, then please mention. And then, moving would be done.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:07, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Can you tell us what makes you say that he should have 2 pages? Wikipedia has some set of rules to be followed. You can't demand these non-sensible things.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:11, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Steve Pound is a good MP. Two pages is what he deserves.

Not enough. Anything else to say?

Final warning

edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:C.Fred. —C.Fred (talk) 18:08, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Why fred, don't you like cricket?--Ukvoltaire123 (talk) 18:10, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Ukvoltaire123Reply

@C.Fred: The user is newbie. Please don't be so harsh to him.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:13, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
And you, Ukvoltaire123, Please be calm. Go through general instructions of Wikipedia first.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:14, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Acagastya: Given the streak of article vandalism, he's lucky he hasn't been blocked already. —C.Fred (talk) 18:16, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
The user should have The Wikipedia Adventure. I still doubt that his/her behavior won't change much.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:18, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@C.Fred: Does the admins have right to enforce going through TWA for the newbies?
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 18:33, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I am extremly sorry for vandalising Wikipedia. Please forgive me C.Fred and aGastya. I was only being fun with this but it turned out to be more than fun. I will now edit on wikipedia properly.--Ukvoltaire123 (talk) 18:47, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Ukvoltaire123Reply

I hope you do. And I agree with C.Fred, they're probably the least harsh/most forgiving admin there is- looking at previous behaviour, many other admins would have blocked you already. Look forward to working with a sensible, well-behaved you. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:59, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I cannot believe you all let this retarded serial vandal go without blocking after the havoc he wrought on the UK 2015 general election pages, as well as other pages (Stephen Pound, etc.) And who is the enabling @Acagastya, making ridiculous comments -- sounds like someone in remedial academia!! And after all that the vandal is welcomed twice to The Wikipedia Adventure!! As it is I am going through @Ukvoltaire123's edits to see if any vandalism got through. Quis separabit? 23:08, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Newbies don't know all the rules. And I wished s/he would know the rules, and work here. To have another beginning. To enhance Wikipedia. But I had a doubt that that the user might not change the behavior. But User:Rms125a@hotmail.com doesn't care to read that I had mentioned And you, Ukvoltaire123, Please be calm. Go through general instructions of Wikipedia first. And this is what I have to hear? someone in remedial academia. Just tried to calm a noob and all this? I don't want to Edit anymore. I am not here to be insulted or humiliated.
aGastya  ✉ Dicere Aliquid :) 23:40, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
You don't need to not be a newbie to know that you should not be blanking hundreds of thousands of bytes of articles on a general election of great importance and then immediately undo the edits, later wreaking havoc on other articles. S/he should play in a literal sandbox if s/he is so immature, certainly not editing Wikipedia. I live in a country where almost every facet of life has been corrupted, defiled, dumbed down, or rendered meaningless, mostly by Democrats and "progressives". I don't want to see that here. So, dear @Acagastya, bye-bye. Quis separabit? 23:47, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
You have a point, but it had already been made more civilly by others. The only effect of your comments was to drive off Acagastya, which IMHO doesn't help anything.ekips39talk 04:38, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I completely agree with Ekips39. In fact you made a comment saying bye to Acagastya, like you wanted him/her gone from Wikipedia. That is indeed uncivil. You should know that some people take others opinions seriously, which is what happened here. And everybody makes mistakes. So think twice before being rude at someone. You just caused a stain on your character.--Chamith (talk) 15:03, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@ChamithN and @ekips39: We all are human and lose our tempers. I apologize for that. I do not, however, accept that the effect of my "comments was to drive off Acagastya". I have been editing since 2005. When people leave in a huff (if indeed they do leave or if they really don't return, things that would be interesting to analyse if we had the capability but that would require long-term monitoring and even then would only serve if the editor(s) in question resumed their old usernames) they do so of their own volition. It is often an empty threat that editors used to refer to as "throwing the toys out of the pram", or something like that. Quis separabit? 15:13, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Rms125a@hotmail.com: I too agree that Acagastya was taking your comments too seriously. In my opinion he/she wouldn't have survived much longer here on English Wikipedia if he/she couldn't bare some harsh comments from one other editor. Maybe he/she considered you as a friend and felt violated after seeing your comments about him/her. Nevertheless I think we should just get over this and continue improving Wikipedia. But I must say this, if you want to come back please do so Acagastya. Cheers!! -- Chamith (talk) 04:06, 11 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Monty845 15:25, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I actually stopped after the warning by Joseph today Ukvoltaire123 (talk) 16:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Too bad you didn't stop after yesterday's warning when you said you'd now edit properly. I don't see a reason to believe you're any more sincere this time around. Huon (talk) 16:25, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

That's true, but you also said yesterday you weren't going to vandalise again. Also, Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks is a good guide for how to make good unblock appeals. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:19, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
This editor should never be considered for unblocking. Quis separabit? 23:10, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to Stephen Pound

edit

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Stephen Pound), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 18:13, 13 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

And before claiming anything, learn to read. Spam? Really? Don't you know the policies of Wikipedia? As Jaaron95 said, you need to cite. Hope you cite now onwards.

False claims?

edit

You say you are native speaker of English language, but you type ridiculous stuff. Your edit here, is considered as a personal attack. You will report to admin? For what harm? Did not you read the rules of WP yet? So many users have asked you to be constructive here (mentioned above) still your notorious acts have no end?
Listen user. Don't try to expel your frustration on other editors.
You have been mentioned at Administrator intervention against vandalism and an admin will look what to do.
I don't find any good edits by you. either you blank pages/ vandal them or you make edits like this and this. Adding a word or two, and removing it. You added biggest defeat of Lebanon national football team and did not cite it. But now, I find you biting other editors!

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Spongebob Squarepants: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 21:13, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Year Nine, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 21:25, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
