Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Sbaio. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. This also applies to your edit summaries where you are making personal attacks towards me. In addition, I also thought of warning you about your disruptive editing (you agreed to a compromise regarding player positions but you are ignoring it), but decided that a report at the appropriate noticeboard will be better if you continue to do it. Consider this your last warning, because I will "follow the steps" as another editor suggested in one of discussions about your behavior.sbaio 13:06, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

We agreed on ONE player… one (Carter Verhaeghe). That did not mean every player that plays more than one forward position. I only agreed to it because he is still listed as a centre on every other website. Fair enough, I’ll own up to that and admit I was wrong; same with the Cale Makar situation even though technically I was not wrong considering he is listed as an alternative other websites.

As Soon as I saw you do this for someone who does not play centre (Matt Tkachuk), I knew this was stupid. What I said about is true. My edits are not false either. I not only send sources, but they are general knowledge as far as people who watch hockey go. Plenty of players on here listed with more than one forward portions. They all don’t need to be switched to forward. Those are for players who constantly play ALL 3 forward positions. Like Claude Giroux, Steven Stamkos, etc. Everyone I have talked to about you agrees with me about how you are on this page. So quit being disruptive.Tylerboyd17 (talk) 17:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

We certainly did not agree on one player. You have said yourself in this discussion that you "respect the compromise" and that also applies to other players and not just Verhaeghe. So stop saying otherwise. Yes, I changed Tkachuk's position to a generic one (forward) and I admit that I mistakenly did not list him as winger. In addition, "general knowledge" means nothing in Wikipedia, because reliable sources (NHL, Elite Prospects or Hockey DB) are needed instead of looking at game logs or some unreliable websites, which is WP:OR.
Now regarding Everyone I have talked to about you agrees with me about how you are on this page. – the IP editors (whom I assume you are talking about) that are constantly spreading lies and making personal attacks towards me were blocked for WP:BLOCKEVASION for being WP:SOCKPUPPETs so you ought to do some research before continuing to spread more of that crap. You should also stop with personal attacks and accusations (I am not even mentioning your WP:IDIDNTHEARTHAT behavior, which is turning to edit warring), because that will eventually lead to reporting you, which could end up with a block (and I have no desire to report you on such technicalities as player positions, but I will if I have to). – sbaio 19:26, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I see your POV. That was uncool on my part. No excuse for that. I can tell you don’t want me to get in trouble over something ridiculous. It’s not like what I’m editing is false, but yes I can agree it’s disruptive. I’ll try to be better for future, I’ll admit I was wrong about Verhaeghe. Even though he has rarely played centre at an NHL level, he’s a centre by default. As long as the NHL has him listed as a centre, he shall be listed as one. I’ll be better. However, I still believe not every forward should be listed as a forward on here unless they play all three positions. Like Giroux, Stamkos, etc. I was the one who listed those both as forwards, and Buchnavich before someone deleted that. I also wrote that Giroux is a flexible offensive player who has played comfortably on both centre and wing. Tylerboyd17 (talk) 03:35, 25 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
