Welcome! edit

Hello, Tyler3221996, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Boudewijn Revis, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content protocols, and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Proposed deletion of Boudewijn Revis edit

Important Notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1978 Iranian politics. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Kate R. Cook edit

Hello @Tyler3221996. I am @Archer1234. I have noticed your edits at Kate R. Cook. Thanks for your edits there. It is a good start for an article. I observed a couple of times that you have reinserted a line break (<br>) in the infobox. It is not widely known, but per Wikipedia's Manual of Style and for accessibility reasons we should not use link breaks (see MOS:NOBR for more information). I had replaced the line break using the {{Ubl}} (unbulleted list) template, which visually achieves the same effect as using a line break. So there is no reason to use a line break there. I would appreciate it if you would remove the line break or, if you'd like, I can take care of it. Let me know. If you see any other edits of mine that you do not understand or have questions about, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Alternatively, you can ask for help at the Teahouse. Good luck. — Archer1234 (talk) 04:00, 4 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022 edit

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Kate R. Cook while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Archer1234 (talk) 02:45, 5 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

About your edit summaries edit

Hello @Tyler3221996. Many of your recent edits have an identical edit summary of Added relevant information citing reliable online news sources. That vague summary is no better than no edit summary at all. In What to avoid in edit summaries, WP:SUMMARYNO says:

* Avoid vagueness. While edit summaries can be terse, they should still be specific. Providing an edit summary similar to "I made some changes" is functionally equivalent to not providing a summary at all.

Note that an edit summary is designed for these purposes (from Help:Edit summary):

Summaries help other editors by (a) providing a reason for the edit, (b) saving the time to open up the edit to find out what it's all about, , and (c) providing information about the edit on diff pages and lists of changes (such as page histories and watchlists).

In the future, please provide more information in your edit summaries that specifically describes the specific edit. See WP:EDITSUMCITE for guidance on how to write an edit summary. Thank you. — Archer1234 (talk) 20:20, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
