Matt Spencer

edit

Matt Spencer (born Matthew Stewart Spencer on May 11, 1979 in Lynchburg, Virginia) is an American author, best known for horror and fantasy fiction. While he has published two novels to date, he is most known for his short stories, which have appeared over the years in numerous print and on-line magazines. While most of Spencer's published work consists of stand-alone pieces, they often feature recurring characters and settings, such as the Victorian-era supernatural vigilante Frederick Hawthorne and the Dark Lands mythos. Spencer's work is most frequently characterized by strong, morally ambiguous protagonists (displaying both classically heroic and classically villainous traits and personalities), pitch-black humor, fast-paced plots full of gruesome violence, and - contrastingly - strong doses of romance.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
