Managing a conflict of interest

Dear Lord Belbury. I am the artistic director of Close-Act Theatre and I did not create the Wikipedia page. The page came by surprise and I adapted some information and corrected some mistakes years ago. I like other people to contribute more than writing myself, but it is difficult to ignore falls or insufficient information. Some links were very important because they genuinely connect to renown festivals from around the world. Linking is an important tool on Wikipedia I believe. It connects different topics and interests. Can you please verify the information and preserve articles and links if you discover they are correct? I fairly contributed facts so can you please keep correct information intact? Thank you Tonny Aerts

I don’t understand. Didn’t you check the information you deleted? Does it matter who wrote it or does it matter what’s right? A wikipedia contributor has a to obligation to check, provide or maintain genuine information. Deleting articles without checking just because its writer seems like a contribution with no reason. Hope you understand my indignation. My only question is: Can you as an editor please check the information again? Thank you

No, I didn't take the time to verify each of the 49 festivals you listed as having performed at before deleting 46 of them, I just cut it down a shorter and more readable "including..." list and marked it as needing sourcing. Your company should not have added that list in the first place.
If you can provide a better paragraph that gives some significant examples and context (festivals where you headlined, received awards, etc), and with sources, please make an edit request on the talk page and somebody will assess it. --Lord Belbury (talk) 18:10, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's a pity.

I will make an edit request to get a better description about the topic! Please remember: The deleted items were correct, primary benefitted third parties and edited for that reason only. I think it is important that Wikipedia provides full information about topics or at least as complete as possible. This is the reason I edited the page. (Note: I did not created it)
