Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:39, 17 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

transfermarkt edit

Since most of its content is user-generated, transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite it in articles, as you did with Arthur Irawan (footballer). Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:12, 15 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'll be honest, I don't entirely understand your question, but I can take a guess. If the article isn't appearing in a particular search, it's probably because it's you only created a few hours ago. Chances are, if you give it a bit of time, the problem will fix itself. While we're on the subject, I have to ask you for some sources. I can't find anything, listed in the article or elsewhere, to confirm the four appearances you say Irawan has made for Waasland-Beveren. Where are you getting this from? Thank you. Thai Football edit

Tommy1933 has removed Season By Season Record from many articles. These sections are linked to other Wiki articles, where they are referenced/sourced by external links. He has also been removing external links to official club pages, like Facebook, which is also used as reference/source in many cases, specially when the club don`t have an official website anymore. He has also spammed articles with up to 10 "none referenced" boxes in the same article, even when the section is clearly sourced. He has visited most Thai club`s articles and destroyed them! He has destroyed in a few days what many editors have used years to build. An this without any valid reason! Tommy1933 has destroyed Wiki for me, as I`m not interested in editing when people like him can destroy it all with help and support from other users who thinks they are "God". I will use all my effort to get Tommy1933 banned from Wiki, and will ask all other editors of Thai football on Wiki to do the same. There`s no point to continue edit articles when people like Tommy1933 is around! SveinFalk (talk) SveinFalk (talk) 06:40, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi again! SveinFalk I don't vandalising, I remove because that does not any references, and i just needs verification, you can add material, but only with reliable sources, and I do it, not in only Thai football pages, you can see my old contributions. And Facebook can't be sourced or referenced. --Tommy (talk) 07:43, 29 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

2015 Indonesia Super League edit

Hi, as I mentioned before there is a new football table template that is being use as the standar format which is Module:Sports table. Learn it!!

If other leagues in Asia doesnt use that and you make that as an excuse to not implement it in ISL 2015 its definitely wrong, Indonesian football articles is a project from Wikiproject Football and have to follow accordingly. I dont have the obligations to change all other leagues using the new template and if you are willing, be my guest to change them as long as you follow WP:MOS.

I thought you learned already that wrongs on other pages doesnt make a justification to make Indonesian articles wrong like them. I hope you understand the arguments that I explained here. Consider this a first warning regarding your reverts in 2015 Indonesia Super League page. Cheers!! MbahGondrong (talk) 19:06, 8 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

My Reverts edit

Firstly, I saw that you added AFC competition sections in several clubs. I want to point out that, those are the stuffs that makes the Indonesian articles doesnt comply with Wikipedia rules. You can see here that SatuSuro mentioned 'Most articles are far too large with too much repetition'. Please take that into consideration when editing. A long article does NOT mean it is a good article. Even for Persib Bandung, actually the Asia Champions League honour should be gone as being a quarterfinalist does not even qualify as an honour. An honour is counted if you are champion, runner-up or third place. If you disagree with me, we have to discuss about this and try to find a solution, hopefully we can solve this with a clear head.

Second, please dont forget to add sources IN the article when you edit pages, dont put it in edit summaries. You asked others to add source to articles they edit but if you yourself not doing it, it is not cool at all. One last advice, there are other constructive editing that could be done in Wikipedia then only adding caps and statistics such as more text contents that could make the article more encyclopedic and doesnt look like a database. Cheers!! MbahGondrong (talk) 18:23, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Religion & Sources edit

Dear Tommy1933 I removed several players from the Persib Bandung that you had but into Category:Indonesian Muslims because I couldn't initially find any sources or references about their faith. While most players on the squad probably are Muslim Wikipedia needs reliable sources and not pure speculation because of their ethnicity or names. Like wise many Indonesian footballers who are from Bali are often placed in Category:Indonesian Hindus without any references and players who are Papuan are often placed in Category:Indonesian Christians without any reference as well. Thank You very much & happy editing.Inter&anthro (talk) 02:07, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Updating articles edit

Hi, I want to ask you one more time to not just put the sources as an edit summaries. The article will be better if there are text informations inside to make it encyclopedic. It would be great if you could not only update the infobox but add some materials adding the source to the article. I believe with your professional level of english that you stated in your user page that wont be a big problem. One other thing is to always use En-dashes. Cheers!! MbahGondrong (talk) 22:17, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes I know that, but I'm so lazy, so i just added source on the summaries. Cheers! Tommy Syahputra (talk) 05:00, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Diego Mendieta edit

Hi, before letting you know why I reverted your edit in Diego Mendieta, I want to thank you for giving the source for his number that was retired. I used it also for the Persebaya article (for Eri Irianto). As I always said to you, sources are needed if not then new unsourced informations will be deleted.

The reason for the revert of Mendieta's article is that he already passed away and I dont think new sources about his youth career or caps and goals with Persis will be available, thats why I removed them. As for the text "the Surakarta-based breakway Liga Indonesia Premier Division club", I removed it because it can be seen as not neutral, thus violating WP:NEUTRAL, a simple explanation that he played before for Persis is enough. It's also not considered flowery-words. For the birth date you should use the template which I already put there. If you still have question about it, let me know.

Lastly, try to use the En-Dash like – for separation of years in infoboxes and use the five '~' for the pcupdate or ntupdate row. Thanks and cheers!! MbahGondrong (talk) 00:48, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon edit

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:47, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
