Omuthiya town

Omuthiya is a town in Oshikoto region in the northern namibia and became the capital of the region since 2008.[1]omuthiyagwiipundi (camelthorn tree with resting benches) it was named after Mr moses Eriki ,a contractor was contructed a table and chairs under the tree to serve as a resting place for road users.In omuthiya town they is a shopping center,Railway,shell station,business center,omuthiya hospital,omuthiya town concillor and many more....[2]Omuthiya is a costituency where Hon.Penda ya ndakolo is a govervor of oshikoto region.omuthiya is 10km near to Etosha National Park.In Omuthiya town you will find omuthiya open market which is well known in oshiwambo (omatala).[3]
