June 2020 edit

  Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Radja Nainggolan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:46, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi can you help me to edit Alessandro Venezia page ? Thank you Tim.1944.Au (talk) 13:55, 1 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

Hello! It seems that some experienced editors are reverting what you are adding. This is most likely for a very good reason. I do more on the copyediting side and less content so I am probably not the best to be talking to on this one. However, I can tell you that anything that is unreferenced cannot be on the page. References edit

Hi, I noticed you're having a bit of difficulty adding references correctly for your edits. You might find User:Nick Moyes/Easier Referencing for Beginners to be helpful. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 22:29, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Mate 🙏🏻 I’ll try with that hopefully will be great. @Tim.1944.Au: I'll try. Let me know what you need help with. :-) Robby.is.on (talk) 09:39, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Bradleytim41@gmail.com this is my email . Thank you @schazjmd The pages Is Andrea Stramaccioni new coach of al Gharafa Qatar that in the official website plus Instagram page they already wrote an official article and on Wikipedia someone keep change my edit and is not update .

Alessandro Venezia I don’t know why they keep change the presence and goal where in the international website there is article with his presence plus YouTube video plus Live game for who follow the football and still Wikipedia page is not updated.

Tony nwakamene another footballer that his presence plus goals are not real and there I try to change with all sources but they still reverting because maybe one or 2 have something personal with me , but Wikipedia is not for that but to improve , update and give a real information to all the world and who edit must to be sure .

Thank you 🙏🏻 Tim.1944.Au (talk) 09:49, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@robby.is.on Tim.1944.Au (talk) 09:50, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tim. I've had a look at Andrea Stramaccioni first. I found a reliable source for the move to Al Gharafa: https://www.the-afc.com/news/afcsection/stramaccioni-takes-charge-of-qatar-s-al-gharafa, it's from the Asian Football Confederation.
When you last tried to update the Stramaccioni article (link to your changes), you tried to add https://momentidicalcio.com/2021/07/01/andrea-stramaccioni-allenera-in-qatar-raggiunto-laccordo-con-lal-gharafa/ as a source. I don't know whether momentidicalcio.com is a reliable source, I haven't heard of the website before. But you also manually placed it in the "Reference" section. It would have been better cite the reference inline with a mention of the move to Al Gharafa. Wikipedia:Inline citation has information on what that means. I did that with the AFC reference (link to my change).
I'll have a look at one of the other two articles next. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:27, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Anthony Nwakaeme: Where did you get the numbers for Nwakaeme from? The numbers currently in the article match the number of league appearances counted by Soccerway (link to Nwakaeme's Soccerway profile). Robby.is.on (talk) 10:49, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Alessandro Venezia: From your change (link) it is not clear how the sources you added support the number of appearances you entered. I would suggest citing the references inline – as I mentioned for the Stramaccioni article. When you do that, make sure the references are reliable. For example, I wouldn't consider tribalfootball.com and Alchetron reliable sources. In fact, most of the content at Alchetron is from Wikipedia which is another reason we cannot use it; see WP:CIRCULAR. Robby.is.on (talk) 10:39, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Andrea Stramaccioni is more easy to find a sources because is a new coach so you read the news and it’s done .

About players the sources that I found is about presences and goals and there is more than one website that talk about it . The sources is from important website “ momenticalcio” collaborate with gazzetta dello sport that in Italy is number one and famous paper news in all country from more than 50 years , Tuttomercatoweb is the same also exist a tv program about Tuttomercatoweb web where all italy football follow . About video on YouTube is clear and evident that you can see that the player score goals with their club where in Wikipedia there is 0 games . If 0 games on Wikipedia and there is goals with speaker or highlightes that can prove his score or assist . There also a full games of Miami in the case of alessandro Venezia where he play full games but still in Wikipedia 0 games . This is not professional and nice , who update or edit any Wikipedia pages MUST to be sure and don’t react as a personal issue against other editors . The sources that I found there is a proper article whit interview from the coach or president of the team after the game and wrote by journalist and top football website in the country . Source mean website or article and if in the article there is mention presences , goals even yellow card or red card must to be accepted. Do you agree with me about this ? I found also other footballer with not real presences and goals without any sources or link there and not one touch . I did update on it but like always someone that have personal problem with me revert without show any sources … how came this ? Can you explain me please ? Tim.1944.Au (talk) 11:21, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Tim.1944.Au: I am sorry but I am having trouble understanding your English. Robby.is.on (talk) 11:36, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sources meaning website or article and if in the article there is mention presences and goals, it must to be accepted. Do you agree with me about this ? I found also other footballer with not real presences and goals without any sources or link and not one revert it . I tried to update it but like always someone that have personal problem with me revert without show any sources … how came this ? Can you explain me please ? Tim.1944.Au (talk) 11:49, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sources meaning website or article and if in the article there is mention presences and goals, it must to be accepted. I don't understand that sentence.
I found also other footballer with not real presences and goals without any sources or link and not one revert it . Other articles may also be poorly sourced, if that is what you mean. That would not be a valid reason to add more unsourced content.
I tried to update it but like always someone that have personal problem with me revert without show any sources … how came this ? Multiple editors have given you policy-based explanations for the reverts. Yet you insist on taking this personally. Try to assume good faith: WP:AGF. Robby.is.on (talk) 12:41, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

The first sentence mean that I found a website source where inside the article if you read there is mentioned official presences and goals of the player .

About the manager of the team is different , because in this case the club just announced the coach and we know that the manager start a new season for this club so just edit and update the Wikipedia pages of the coach and it is done .

About players will be little bit difficult because we have to found the sources where the player signed a contract and until here Will be easier plus we have to find a source where for example an article talk about presences and goals of the player and all it online from website. Well for all my update and edit I found a real Source from official website , I edit and update some players pages , I add the real sources where more than one website mention presences and goals of the player so it must to be accepted. Tim.1944.Au (talk) 12:51, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I don't see how what you are writing relates to what we were discussing. I think your English is not good enough for you to communicate effectively with other editors on the English Wikipedia.
I just reverted your change at Alessandro Venezia because the changes fail verification; see Wikipedia:Verifiability. As I wrote twice: you need to use inline citations.
I would suggest you edit the Wikipedia of your native language. Robby.is.on (talk) 13:23, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Maybe you have some problems to understand, I am a doctor and I live in Australia from 20 years . I use proper source and valid verification and still don’t accept me . Fine I will revert again :) so we play this game Tim.1944.Au (talk) 13:26, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I edit and update with real sources. See “Andrea Stramaccioni “ page , I was edit it and after you realize that my updated was right you confirmed:). I edit Wikipedia to help and give a real information to all the world and I don’t do it just to be against some specific person . I am professional and I do what I know . But it’s ok I already send an email to Cris Danis . About Reverting , as well you must to have a real source so please any edit or revert you do, just find a sources . Thank you :) Tim.1944.Au (talk) 13:54, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

July 2021 edit

  Please do not add or change content, as you did at Alessandro Venezia, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:29, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I cited the sources to all edit that I did maybe you don’t see this or don’t wanna accept . Source = website / article … is exactly what I did Tim.1944.Au (talk) 18:57, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Alessandro Venezia, you may be blocked from editing. Robby.is.on (talk) 09:48, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have to stop to edit , because I did my change with a proper source and I mentioned it in any single change . Source from official website from the team . Source from top and trustable website. Maybe your source are not trustable . If I do change because I know 100% what I am doing , I am a doctor and big football fan so my change is correct and with proper information. Wikipedia in not yours but is to everyone that wanna improve the page and give to all the people that wanna read Wikipedia a proper information. Some pages are ridiculous created and I will update start 1 by 1 with a proper source . If you will revert means that you have something personal with me , and for me it’s ok we keep change :) Tim.1944.Au (talk) 09:54, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Alessandro Venezia. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:25, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Guys you looks like mafia all Together against me . I wanna just remembered that and clarify that Wikipedia is not yours , you are an editor like I am , and we start to have problems since I edit Andrea Stramaccioni and after you realized that I was right . It is correct ? Now , I edit Alessandro Venezia page because I am sure 100% and I wanna give a proper information for who read Wikipedia, I provide so many sources but you don’t accept that and I don’t know why , official website / interview/ top article from different country so what you need more ??? After alessandro Venezia I’ll go forward to edit and update other pages where there is not source at all , there is false news and not one update and honestly I don’t know why . I send an email to the chris and we have an mutual friend where I explain what happens in Wikipedia and this is not correct . You must to be humble and accept who know better than you , like I do if I don’t know something. Andrea Stramaccioni is a easy example. Now we keep doing this and still we keep update the page . I am on the right way because I am honest I know what I am doing . Thank you Tim.1944.Au (talk) 17:45, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
