Proposed deletion of East Timor at the 2009 Lusophony Games edit

The article East Timor at the 2009 Lusophony Games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is not necessary to cover the topic, especially since the nation won no medals.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gosox5555 (talk) 01:31, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Equitorial Guinea at th 2009 Lusophony Games edit

A tag has been placed on Equatorial Guinea at the 2009 Lusophony Games, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.Masonpatriot (talk) 01:46, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please note that if you move the list (which is both featured and part of a featured topic) that you should check the list prose itself. Right now that list deals exclusively with the UEFA Cup, so much so that it describes the fact that the UEFA is now defunct. It makes no mention at all of the Europa League. This is a major change to a featured topic and I think you should have discussed the move as some (including me) would consider it controversial. It's not a phenomenally big deal but since it's part of a WP:FT, we should take care on making changes like this.... I'll happily help out in fixing this. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:49, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Hong Lok edit

A tag has been placed on Hong Lok requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. November 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Fb Team Hong Lok, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Willking1979 (talk) 18:18, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (File:Nova identidade.jpg) edit
