Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Thomasjacobi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page The Hidden Face (book)‎, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Fred, I uploaded the cover image by request of the page's chief author. She asked me because I work for Ignatius Press and thus have authority to upload cover images. It's for reference only, not for promotion. I don't think this qualifies as a conflict of interest, but thanks for your attention. Thomasjacobi (talk) 18:35, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

This gets deeper. First, do you or do you not own the cover image? If you do not, there are issues with how it is tagged, rightswise. —C.Fred (talk) 18:57, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

I just saw this. I understand now. Yes, I represent Ignatius Press, which owns the copyright. So I guess someone else should upload it voluntarily with our permission, right? Or should such an image be avoided altogether? Thomasjacobi (talk) 00:57, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
