hey, hope this is the right way to leave a message. have a question, please see the g gordon liddy webpage and note that a infobox Criminal was used, and then see John Dean and note the lack of same. both are former attorneys, disbarred, convicted felons with federal prison time for crimes connected in association with watergate. any reason one has a criminal box and the other doesnt? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdneverpassesabar (talkcontribs) 20:29, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

THIS IS MY FIVE HUNDREDTH EDIT!!!!!!!

Horray!

Friendly, I couldn't have done it without you...

TheSavageNorwegian 21:34, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for your greeting! :-)

I put my toe in the water yesterday with a few public edits on a page for my 2nd cousin. Now I will dive in as a new member and hope that I do no damage. I can see there is much to learn. I appreciate your offer to guide my journey. I'll be in touch. CarsonsDad (talk) 01:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Your program named friendly is, indeed, friendly! I was up half the night working on a new paragraph for the article Orexin (Wakefulness section). A person who is some other person's dad should not be up so late. ;)

Today I see that Boghog2 has "wikified" my precious paragraph. What does that mean? ***When you have time, of course. There is no rush on this. BTW, the article Narcolepsy needs to be wikified, IMHO. :0 CarsonsDad (talk) 19:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I think?

I appreciate your correcting the spelling on my article an hour ago, but I wonder what you were doing editing in my User: space. Is my understanding of WP etiquette at fault, or is this considered normal behavior? --Eliyahu S Talk 21:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

'salright. Since there is a fair correspondence between our userboxes*, I'll let you get away with it. ;^) Besides, it was in my "sandbox" because I'm working on it before moving it into the main space. For new articles that take some time to write, I prefer to do it that way and not have a half finished article hanging around, drawing abuse.
* And will be more when I get done knicking a few of your better ones. --Eliyahu S Talk 21:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
You know what? Why don't you review the article for me, and tell me what you think? I'd appreciate your feedback. TIA --Eliyahu S Talk 22:05, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know of any templates / infoboxes appropriate for telecomm startups? --Eliyahu S Talk 11:11, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

The CF (Confusion Factor - not yet a wiki article) is a perfect 10.0 but I am not related to Carson. My son (16) is named Carson, thus my moniker. I'll let my son know that Carson is taken on WP.

For Orexin (Wakefulness), it seems that the paragraphs beginning with Recent and Recently are no longer relevant (as well as others, perhaps), given that Boghog2 states without qualification that narcolepsy is proven to be an autoimmune disease, thus making the intermediate research in mice and monkeys irrelevant. As a WP newbee, I would hesitate to remove complete paragraphs from an article, but I imagine that entire sections need to be rewritten from time to time.

Help!

Hi there! I seem to have a problem. See the vacation template at the top of the page? I would like to write one like it, but I've never written a template before... Could someone help? TheSavageNorwegian 01:05, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

What do you want it to say?--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:12, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

That was quick! Well, I was sort of astounded at the variety of wiki-break templates. I discovered that there are three or four different vacation templates, but none pertaining to camping... so I I was going for something like "This user will be camping from 'date' to 'date'" with a green background and a picture of a tent. But once I got to the vacation3 template, I was sort of overwhelmed. Could you help me, step by step if possible? (Not necessarily now, just sometime...) Thanks for your response. TheSavageNorwegian 01:28, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Just moved it so I could read it while trying to fix it for you.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:30, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
How do you like this picture?--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:34, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmm... I was thinking of something more like this TheSavage[[User talk:ThesavagenorwegianNorwegian]] 01:40, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Sure thing. I am not sure we can change the background color as that is standard for templates. I will just check.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:48, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Ok, this is what I have come up with:

{{Camping}}

Is that ok?--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:55, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

That is amazing! Thanks for your help. If I need anything further I'll ask, but... hmm...

I suppose you deserve a barnstar for that.

Expect one in the next few days. TheSavageNorwegian 02:03, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Ha ha. Thanks! I am still gonna try to get it green for you.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 02:42, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Well, I'm making cookies right now, so maybe I can send you some of those? As in {{Subst:Cookies}}? Seriously though, I am making cookies, Oatmeal-Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip. Then I'm going to bed. At ten o'clock. Arn't I boring? TheSavageNorwegian 02:47, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

HA Ha ha. Whatever you like! mmmmmm Oatmeal!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 02:56, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! Yep, thats true!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 20:18, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of CN Real

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article CN Real, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

no third party sourcing - Wikipedia WP:NOT an advert

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- The Red Pen of Doom 11:50, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, how did I get this? Oh! I corrected a typo on that page! TheSavageNorwegian 15:24, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Why are all my comments being inserted into quoted text lately? TheSavageNorwegian 15:25, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey, that is because you are using the space button. If you don't want the quote box then you need to use ":" instead of the space bar.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 16:01, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Yep!

Hey! Yeah I finally got it green! It's about time too. Haha. Yeah you did give me the barnstar, it just got put into my archive by a bot along with all my other messages older then a week.

Thanks!!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 18:36, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: WikiCat

you know how cats are apt to bat things around. additionally you'll notice i didn't specify that they "ate" WikiTrouts. WikiCats are just as liable to use them the same as any other Wikipedian... ~kytti khat 00:51, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Shades of orange

Hi. The reason I removed you from the category "Shades of orange" was that you appear on the category page, which seems a bit odd; See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Shades_of_orange I didn't mean to offend you or anything. Just wanted to clean up the category listing. Tomasf (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Hey! You Caught Me!

Thanks for revising my edits. I was only making those edits to test the validity of Wikipedia as many people today say that Wikipedia is not a reliable source. People claim Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, and thus it is not very reliable. I have been a user of Wikipedia for years, under a different account name, and does think that Wikipedia is reliable. I am going to be writing an editorial on my findings throughout this study, and I will send you a link to the editorial when I publish it. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. What do you think?

What do you think the dimensions are? I might start a page. I think: 1D=length 2D=length & width 3D=length, width & depth 4D=tesserect 5D=time 6D=dark matter 7D=life —Preceding unsigned comment added by JaxFerrari (talkcontribs) 00:58, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
