Warning edit

Thank you for your interest in improving wikipedia. However some of your edits, which I reverted or edited show that you don't quite understand wikipedia's rules. It is not enough to simply add a footnote to your text. Your text must faithfully summarize the information provided in the reference. Please read the rules WP:CITE, WP:NOR, WP:SYNTH. - üser:Altenmann >t 06:43, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Also, I noticed that your edits mostly aimed at "righting the wrong". While there is nothing wrong with this, please try working on neutral subjects as well. Usually "social warriors" get into trouble in wikipedia, because it is very difficult for them to keep the neutral point of view, no matter how noble their goal is. Tschüss. - üser:Altenmann >t 06:43, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Second warning edit

Please read WP:BRD and don't egage in revert wars. - üser:Altenmann >t 07:02, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

False edit summaries edit

Please don't pun false edit summaries as you did in this edit. - üser:Altenmann >t 07:06, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:04, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Warning edit

Please stop adding statements that distort text of sources into wikipedia articles as you did in G-20 major economies ‎. If you disagree, please explain in article talk page. - üser:Altenmann >t 16:34, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Propaganda edit

The Russian government is not a reliable source for anything except its internal affairs. It would be ideal if you stopped referencing its mouthpiece RT for blatant propaganda like you did at Foreign relations of Turkey with "Russia soon after revealed that Turkey was a primary supporter of ISIS". Elspamo4 (talk) 08:28, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Elspamo4: RT is fine for citing the official position of Russia, as long as it is not presented as The Truth, but as it is: What Russkies say. - üser:Altenmann >t 06:34, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Altenmann: I agree to a certain degree; but we shouldn't be in the business of adding undue weight to state propaganda. We all know that countries like Iran, North Korea or Russia spew out fabricated and outrageous allegations on a daily basis. There is no real purpose for perpetuating these allegations unless they have attracted substantial attention from the media. However, in this case, I found this Business Insider article which effectually debunks and deflects Russia's claim, so I might as well add it in. Elspamo4 (talk) 16:05, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Thedawgbelongmem: Wikipedia isn't meant for advocacy or soapboxing. Edit warring is also a serious issue. You should seriously consider reading Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, or else you may find yourself blocked or imposed with editing restrictions. Second warning edit

Stop putting false spin into information you are adding to wikipedia, as you did in Foreign relations of Turkey. - üser:Altenmann >t 06:34, 9 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve VKK flight suit edit

Hi, I'm Mabalu. Thedawgbelongmem, thanks for creating VKK flight suit!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Great article, needds some more citations as some of the sections are completely unreferenced, but looking good.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
