human being initiation

edit

This term gets 11 google hits, 4 of which are related to edits you have made on wikis. I'm just here to kindly remind you that wikipedia does not publish original research. All content needs to be verifiable, and attributed to reliable sources. If you have questions about this, feel free to read some of the links in the welcome message above, ask the help desk, or contact me personally. -Andrew c [talk] 00:32, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see it was wrong to make make such a redirect, since it obviously requires an established term. "Human being initiation" wasn't meant to be a single term more than any other expression, like The 6 provincial areas of Flanders. The world deserves the truth (talk) 15:14, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
