Stop your revert vandalism
If you keep on reverting for no reason, I will report you. See vandalism for more detail louisng114 21:13, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- Keep up the good work, Someguy. Reverting is a hard job and it's something I have a hard time doing. If people like you weren't around, Wikipedia would turn into a mess quite quickly.

Ok, can we stop acting like children and make an agreement. The phrase, "Whats that smell?" has happend more then once in the series. So it must have some signifigence in the show. It should be included. --SerpentsTail 01:42, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Fine, you win the bicker, go ask a Ben 10 addict to cite everytime they used "Whats that smell?" Okay? I might not be the best at fighting, but I can make my point. You know as well as I do, it did happen more then once. But you win. Truce.--SerpentsTail
Nominating you for adminship
Hi Someguy! Just wanted to ask you if you'd like to be an admin, before starting the formal process off. You're a great user, and I think you would do well with the mop. Cheers! Yuser31415 19:39, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Zabuza
Ok, this has to stop. Zabuza used Water Clone Jutsu twice. He used Hiding Mist Jutsu twice, he even used the Projection Technique twice. I really don't see your point in removing the Projection Technique, yet you say it isn't "recognizable". We might as well remove the other jutsus which he used twice if this is how it'll be. Just state your point dude. PL(DB) 07:39, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
CVG Navigation
Hello, I've notice you edit to the meta-template:CVG Navigation which has cause that page to further fail XHTML 1.0 Strict validation. Note that align="center" is deprecated in XHTML. To substitue for this we use margin-right:auto; margin-left:auto;. Also, when using tables as a layout mechanism that it is preferable to not use <th> (wikimarkup "!"). See: Wikipedia:Accessibility#Layout tables for more information. One final note, when editing templates please use the preview button as changes causes a recomputation of the all transclused pages and doesn't look very good in the edit history. --Dispenser 07:32, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Naruto world Transformation Jutsu
If it's really an illusion as you've claimed, and not a real shape-shifting technique, how was it that Naruto Uzumaki himself transformed into something as miniscule as a Fuma Shuriken? I'm sure you remember how Sasuke was able to hold him (Naruto transformed as that shuriken) with ease, then actually threw him at Zabuza as a Shadow Shuriken. Also remember when Gamabunta had Naruto change him with a creature with claws (which was a Kyubi?) This is something ya should deeply consider, so then the category that I once placed there (:Caregory:Fictional shapeshifters whateva...) should be replaced there, right? PL(DB) 08:36, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Um, what about when naruto became a little fuma shuriken? Do you actually think that Sasuke would actually be able to wield naruto like that if Naruto was his actual size? and remember, Gamabunta transformed into a Kyubi with claws, something he didn't have as a frog/toad. Accept it. They shapeshifted, like Oolong (Dragon Ball) and Pu'ar. PL(DB) 21:07, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds like original research to me. If you can source it, it'd not only solve the debate you're having, it'd actually let you include it in an article. --Deskana (For Great Justice!) 21:08, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Here's the scene (then unbeknownst to readers) where Naruto transforms into that Fuuma Shuriken [2].
Notice how Naruto's weight didn't make a difference when Sasuke threw him. In this scene, Naruto transforms back to his normal self [3]. I thought that this link was in some way confusing to explain the closed-and then open shuriken transformation technique[4]. Pretty much if you also recall the anime, it reveals that the real Naruto transformed into a closed (or folded have you) fuuma shuriken and was tossed by his Kage Bunshin to Sasuke. Sasuke even felt that it was him. Naruto was even able to be open up completely as that closed shuriken right before Sasuke threw him as the shadow of his Fuuma. I really hope that this explaination isn't too confusing and somewhat and convinces you. I'm not really good at explaining stuff, if you catch my drift. Now for this next one, Gamabunta is actually about to transfrom into a creature with claws (and claws are something he didn't have before). He claims that Henge no Jutsu (Transform Jutsu) is one of his abilities that needs work and asks Naruto to help him become a creature with claws. Which turned out to be a nine-tailed fox that was even faster than the normal Gamabunta. See complete details: [5]. Do you see what I mean now? This proves that even if the real person is inside of that illusory form, it's still considered a shape-shifting ability. "WHY?" or "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" you ask? Basically, it's because they can change their size and grapple (or grasping) ability. The Fuuma Shuriken (which was actually Naruto) could have killed Zabuza had he been standing still and not jumped to evade its' path. Also remember that Naruto was even able to pull out a kunai while he was spinnin' as that shuriken to Zabuza (which is another indication that you can transform into something that appears non-human and can change back to your normal self with a weapon of some sort). As for the Boss Frog Gamabunta, I think I've exlained that thoroughly to you enough. Right? PL(DB) 06:58, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Except for the few incosistencies, that's entirely original research. You're not getting away with this through interpretation. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 06:59, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- So, you're saying that it was all a lie by Kishimoto? Naruto didn't transform into a little Fuuma Shuriken which was small enough to fit in his knapsack and Gamabutna never had claws (even though he changed into a creature with claws to grapple Shukaku?) What are ya tryin' to debate here? PL(DB) 07:19, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Again, you persist in missing the point. Listen for once. It does not matter how much you interpret the material. It's original reasearch. You can't call it shapeshifting unless it is actually so. It is never labeled as shapeshifting, therefore it is not. It is akin to shapeshifting because it appears as so, but it is not. It is merely a semi-tangible illusion. No amount of shapeshifting goes up in a puff. In the same way that a solid clone is made of nothing, so to is this transformation trick. Get it? – Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:28, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Just answer me this: DO YOU still not believe that a Naruto character can change into somethin' as small as a Fuuma Shuriken that can cut and slice? That is changing one's property and size, isn't it? "Henge" in Japanese also means "Change" or "Transform" (meaning shapeshift). Just admit that it ain't close to a semi tangible-illusion and that it actually is changing one's properties. PL(DB) 07:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- No, because they never do. Naruto changes into shuriken a grand total of three times. Not once has it actually cut anything. Quit arguing for no reason. You're not good at it. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:41, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Where in blazes did he transform into a fuuma shuriken three times? It was only once. How can you explain Gamabunta's claws then? Where they fake claws lacthing onto Shukaku or real claws that can actually grip? PL(DB) 07:45, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you're trying to argue a point, you'd best have all your facts down first. Naruto transforms himself in a large shuriken when fighting Zabuza, two clones into two small shuriken against Gato's bodyguards, and another clone into a large one in the second bell test. As for Gamabunta, one inconsistency does not a precedent make. You're trying to argue one screw-up as a reason, which is pointless. Drop it, because you do not have any source other than your own reasoning, and that will not cut it. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:55, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

The Defender of the Wiki Barnstar | ||
I was on the fence between Defender of the Wiki and Good Humor - you really deserve both for your Naruto edits, which are productive and funny, and have helped the Naruto pages grow into the Gamabunta-sized stack of data that they now are without becoming too bloated or fancrufty. (Now if we could just find someone to start inserting citations to secondary sources, we would have something . . .) Thanks for all your great work, TheronJ 21:12, 8 January 2007 (UTC) |

On another note, I find it funny that Dragonball articles tend to attract troublemakers and suchlike. Speaking of which, you're doing a good job safeguarding the articles from harm, but it'd be nice if you'd help these new users understand why we can't accept what they add. :-) --Deskana (For Great Justice!) 00:35, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey, can I ask for your age?
I know you don't gotta answer this question and all, but Deskana, Yuser and I have revealed ours. First off, if I recall correctly, you once claimed that you were, and I somewhat quote: "Older than you are, I can assure you", right? Remember when we had a little edit warring here (which I regret, of course). <-- HINT! HINT! It began on 14:32, 12 September 2006 and ended on 16:48, 12 September 2006. Let's see if you were right. I happen to be 20 years old. I was born in 1986 and I'll turn 21 in October of this year. Deskana claimed to be 18, and Yuser claimed to be 13. You don't gotta answer this, but, how old are you? If you lie (that is if ya happen to answer), shame on you! That's all I can say. ;{ PL(DB) 01:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Nihongo template
First of all, let me say thanks for contributing to Bleach-related articles.
There is one small issue that I would like to bring up - the use of {{nihongo}}. It should be used only in cases where a real English word comes first and then the kanji and Japanese reading come in brackets, i.e.: captain (隊長 taichō). In cases where the Japanese word comes first, and an the English translation is in brackets, i.e. Ashisogi Jizō (疋殺地蔵 lit. Ksitigarbha's killer head), the nihongo template should not be used - its format is the opposite, and it was not intended for this use. Please take this into consideration. If you think that templates should be uses in these cases as well, feel free to create a different template.
Just Want to Clarify
I noticed you edited my page to comply with Wikipedia's rules on images. Thanks. I was told that if an image was traced over in Paint, or whatever, one is able to put it on their page without any problems. However, I also read that no matter how much it is edited, coloured, etc, you can't put it on your own page if it's from a TV show, manga, whatever. However, if I drew a picture of, say... a cat on Paint, and it wasn't of any cartoon character, etc, but just a random cat, could I post it? I don't plan to put any pictures on my page, but I just want to clarify. Please reply on my talk page if it's not too much trouble. Thanks. -- Xiao-Mei
I did some looking up
I did some looking up and looking at buried archives to find your age, I always thought you were older than that. Do you want to know my age I lied at first on my page then told the truth so I'm 13 just like Yuser (#'s here). I don't think ages matter though I'm pretty mature for my age so is Yuser so as long as we all remain mature here on Wikipedia, Wikipedia can run smothley. Manga/anime characters who can fly
Hi. Do you know of any other fictional characters in manga/anime that can fly (either by nothing or without wings?) If you may have noticed, I have been adding this category: Category:Manga and anime characters who can fly to several Dragon Ball related characters (which I'm not done with yet since there are so many I have to do), also added it to Astro Boy, Ultraman and early others. It would be great if ya could help me out by just telling me who else I'm missing, or if ya could just place that category for them instead and let me know. Thanks Someguy, oh by the way, should I add it to Sasuke Uchiha (I mean, he flew with wings when he released Cursed Seal level 2 right?) See ya, 16:57, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, ya never answered my question. Do ya know of any other manga/anime characters who can fly? If so, can ya tell me or add the category (Category:Manga and anime characters who can fly) yourself? Also, been meaning to add that category to Sasuke Uchiha onlybecause he is able to fly with the use of wings (in cursed seal level 2) So, tell me what ya know and ponder about the situation... ... - So, you're saying that those weren't wings that he grew on his back? I thought so. Originally, I just believed that they were more like gigantic retarded hands, don't ya think? I noticed that you fixed a test1 on the above account ([8]), and this shows that you are aware of the "abuse" email account. I was just wondering if you sent an email to abuse AT lancaster.ac.uk as I noted in the talk page, or did you assume that the original test1 reporter sent it? If you haven't sent an email and the original one also didn't send it, I'll be happy to send one instead (I've already established some dialogue with one of their sysadmins, so I can make sure this one gets investigated).
--Deathphoenix ʕ 17:55, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- That's what I figured. I'll send an email to the abuse account and follow up with the specific sysadmin that I talked to. Thanks, Deathphoenix ʕ 18:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Ulquiorra's helmet
I see what bothers me about Image:Ulquiorra mugshot.jpg now. They drew his helmet funny. I'm going to update the image with one from the same perspective, but with a better helmet. At time index 21:07. –Gunslinger47 03:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the cropping. It's better now, I think. The short helmet and his facial expression in the prior image just seemed odd. His body was positioned awkwardly as well. –Gunslinger47 03:08, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Soifon and Dark one
Soifon actually hits the female Dark One twice not just once. If you have the rip of the movie, you can see the first hit at 1:05:57 and then the obvious second hit later. Here's a youtube link: [9]. You can see the first hit at 2:57. Gdo01 07:18, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

- Exactly. Noting that, for example, Lewis Black said "fuck" 42 times in his last broadway performance wouldn't be original research. Same principal here. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:54, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

We got a problem man
Remember how you proposed for the ninjutsu in Naruto to be changed from instead of being listed in Japanese titles like: Chidori (One Thousand Birds), you suggested it just be One Thousand Birds instead. In the end, your suggestion sufficed and all of the ninjutus, genjutsus, etc., were renamed in only English . Been doing some thinking, it would be very useful if ya gave your suggestions here on this matter also. It would be really appreciated. Even if ya not that familiar with the subject, what do you propose for the policy/guideline to be:
- Should the techniques be listed in romaji (don't ask me what "romaji" means cause I don't know exactly either) as they are named in the manga/anime filler? (Japanese, not English)
- Should they all be renamed in English according to WP:UE?
- Should they all just have the ō, ū, etc., removed and just be placed wth a normal o and a normal u? (e.g., how you had Jōnin changed to Jonin, instead of it being changed to Jounin)
- Or should you discuss a whole new idea for that attack list similar as you suggested for the Naruto ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, etc., lists?
Perhaps you've already noticed it, but the Dragon Ball related articles are so messed up that everything needs a fix. Do the best ya can Someguy to comment on the respective talk page with whatever knowledge you have on the subject, I'm counting on you homie!!! Cheers. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:09, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, ya never answered my question. Can you please comment on the matter? Power level (Dragon Ball) 01:26, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! Then we'll use WP:UE, like you did for Ninjutsu (Naruto). Know what, I'll go ahead and make a decision on it. Power level (Dragon Ball) 01:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Kurosaki Ichigo Article
Hey, you reverted my edits with on the edit summary you asked why I cut out some of the "facts". Some of what I cut out was just bad. For example, there was one line that said "Ichigo's mask can be seen on page xxx of the manga". Yes, that is true and therefore a "fact". But it A) doesn't fit with the paragraph it was in and B) should be referenced, not made part of the main article. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 00:52, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Your edit summary of "Changes-ish" was not exactly informative. Try editing by sub-section so other editors can more easily pick and choose which if your contributions/cleanups to keep. –Gunslinger47 01:04, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, while I admit some of my edits were bad, I think I feel most strongly about the reference to the chapter. Self-referencing in that manner is bad and not very encylopedic. Encyclopedia's don't reference like that, and I think it is wiki convention to use footnotes. But more importantly, it's an irrelevant fact that does not flow! The paragraph talks about hollows in general then it talks about picture. Imagine for a second this paragraph: "Rabbits' characteristics are not limited to just excellent sensory abilities; they possesses very strong hind legs as a result of constantly running to escape from enemies. Page 23 of Rabbits of the World depicts a rabbit running". Does that flow? No, no it doesn't Hobbeslover talk/contribs 03:54, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I don't see what the problem is with "Unconfirmed". It's ... true. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 02:25, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Looks fine to me. I happily accept the change. Active makes it sound like he's 100% OK, and really he is anything but, if he's even still alive. Treima 02:26, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- It sounds bad, though. It implies that his fate is just ignored or left in the open. In a week's time we get a confirmation, so it's fine to list him as active. He still technically is, after all. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 02:27, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
But his fate IS left in the open. I think "Unconfirmed, possibly dead" most accurately describes the current situation. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 02:29, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- I tried changing everything to "Membership status" to avoid these sort of nuances. Perhaps we should just write everything from Akatsuki's perspective to avoid debate. –Gunslinger47 23:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
A sample of EVP......
RE: "A sample of EVP, recorded at the Thunderbird Lodge on the east shore of...."
I'm afraid that you're likely to get blasted for writing this if certain users see it. We've had several edit wars over phrasiology, with some users demanding that we don't label anything as being actual "EVP" on the grounds that nobody has yet proven that EVP actually exists.
That sample has been called everything from "EVP" to "a claimed sample that is allegedly what EVP might sound like if it we real". It's best for not to call it anything except "an audio sample".

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Cbrown1023 talk 18:04, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

- This 3RR warning was given to Someguy for reverting the User:MsHyde, a confirmed sockpuppet of the banned User:Cindery.
- As for your issue, it seems that Someguy has been reverting you quite a bit recently, but I'm willing to bet that he had a good reason each time. I'm reviewing your contributions, and I agree with most of times where you were reverted, where I understand the subject. For example, diff. What were you thinking there? As for most of your other reverted edits, remember that sometimes adding information to an article can make it worse overall. Just because something is true, doesn't necessarily mean it should be included. ...Also, it definitely shouldn't be included as a throw-away text tacked onto the end of a random paragraph regardless of sentence flow. –Gunslinger47 14:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi. My name is Power level (Dragon Ball). I noticed that you usually edit the Bleach-related articles and I was wondering if you knew where I could find the policy/guideline regarding capitalization titles. The reason why I'm asking you, my dear Wikipedian is that GONZO is the official spelling for that article. The official spelling for the Bleach article is BLEACH, as GONZO is the official spelling for that article. Can you please help me find the policy/guideline that speaks of capitalization titles? Much thanks, and it was a pleasure speaking with you. Power level (Dragon Ball) 16:36, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
I think you're misconstruing him, actually. He asked you first, and since I saw from my watch list that you apparently weren't editing at the time, I volunteered my help. --tjstrf talk 20:23, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Hayate Gekkou
Hey Someguy, I'm the one who changed Hayate Gekko to Gekkou (in Plot of Naruto). I had a Japanese language English subbed version of Naruto and that was how it was spelled. Since I'm not 100% sure it's not a fansub, I'll tell you there's one other mention of his name on the page that I had also changed, if you want to be consistant and revert that one also. But I thought "Gekkou" was the correct spelling. But anyway, cheers. 82.93.133.130 17:43, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, you mean the o is an ō? That makes sense, thanks. 82.93.133.130 12:32, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Image:Vastolorde.jpg
I have spliced together a full silhouette of the vast lord seen in Bleach 115. Obviously, this picture isn't going to fit well into the layout of any page, but it's still important to have for demonstrations purposes. To that end, I've added a thumbnail to Image:Vastolorde.jpg so a full, spliced view of the silhouette can be viewed for those who are interested. –Gunslinger47 06:43, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles reverts
It seems that every time I change "Part II" to "Hurricane Chronicles" or something to that nature, you change it back. What I want to know is why and how come you do this for some articles I've edited in this manner but leave others alone.
This has been happening for a while and I simply want to get this matter settled.
- ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT. Point taken. While I'm pissed that my contributions have been utterly and completely useless, I'm glad this has been settled.
- Oh. That's all you had to say. Later. ^_^
Hm. Apparently, Snapper or whoever wants me to back off for "consistency".
A Naruto workgroup
I was wondering if you would be willing to found a Naruto Workgroup under Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga. I think a focus group is needed so that all Naruto articles head in the right direction. To do that a small leadership committee would be needed to create a simple list of prioritized things to do. That group would then delegate tasks to different teams. I am willing to start doing this but would need to collaborate with editors who frequent the Naruto articles. If you would like to help found the workgroup then I'd like to hear your ideas. I have a few of my own and have created a mock-up on User:Squilibob/Naruto. Tell me what you think and if you can think of anyone who you would like to include. I am going to leave a similar message on User:Geg's talk page. --Squilibob 04:58, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Bleach
Konnichi-wa, Someguy-san. I recently made a Bleach WikiProject and it would be great if you could take a look at it and improve it if you can. It would also be great if you would join the WikiProject, since you know a lot about the series, but the choice is completely up to you. Thank you for your time and happy editing! // PoeticDecay 19:41, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Kurenai Yuhi
I made a picture for Kurenai Yuhi but didn't notice the page was semi-locked. I wanted to know if this is ok to put up since she has but 1 picture on the page. Image:Team 8.jpg ~Breezedayoungking89T
Hi, I notice you've changed the image type from pngs to svgs on this template. I just wanted to point out that the 'pink ribbon' doesn't show up properly as an svg. So I'm changing it back unless you know how to fix it? Thanks - Ozzykhan 09:40, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Hide option for template
Hi, I've reverted your edit to Template:Bleach characters, because I really don't see anything wrong with the often convenient hide option. If there's a policy or guideline which recommends against the use of this option, please shed light on the issue. Note: I will not be able to reply until Monday, should you leave a message. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 00:19, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Kurenai
Maybe, but age seems to be a free space to put one's states, for example, Asuma, (deceased), Hidan, (incapacitated).
Why, kinda lets you no where they are at, and while we're on this subject, why isn't it mentioned that special consideration as to who should tell Kurenai in particular about Asuma's death, it says a lot about their relationship.
I was just thinkin'...
Know what? You're right for once Someguy0830. Why don't we create a new category called Category:Naruto superhuman characters or somethin' similarly named which includes the superhuman cats and fictional ninja cats? You may have noticed it, but I got this idea from Category:Dragon Ball superhuman characters. We can still keep the former, just like how Category:Dragon Ball characters was kept for weak characters like Pu'ar and Oolong. Whaddya say? Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:53, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- HELLO?! You there? ... ... ... Power level (Dragon Ball) 18:05, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response. So, you don't mind if I create such a category for the Naruto characters? You are right in this: not all characters have super speed and strength, so I should make it only for characters like Kakashi and Guy? Your answer? Power level (Dragon Ball) 20:20, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- So, what about the characters in Naruto that actually have superhuman strength, speed, etc., they do need the categories in them, don't they? I might just add those cats' to the Category:Naruto characters then. So, what do you propose? Power level (Dragon Ball) 20:43, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- "They rarely produce superhuman abilities" - what the hell are you talkin' about?! So, you're sayin' that characters like Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi, Guy, etc., have abilities that their real-life counterparts can do just as well? I would never say something like that. And YOU need to watch your language dude because cursing at me isn't nice, especially around the ladies. AND NO, I am a dude in case you were wonderin'...
