Please explain your autobiography & COI tags on Puja Joshi

edit

Please discuss your rationale for tagging this as an autobiography at Talk:Puja Joshi. I count over 20 registered editors & also many IP editors. This hardly strikes me as as the work of one person. Peaceray (talk) 18:40, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Dear Peaceray a you see this User:Abhishek8150 he has just created one page Puja Joshi, once page has been created he first move this page to name Pooja Joshi after that user has renamed that page to Puja Joshi, So it means this user is connected with this subject or user is paid to create this article. I think we should do investigation on this user? Thanks! The Gigantic (talk) 19:01, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi Peaceray I am representing Puja Talk:Puja Joshi as her talent manager. The Gigantic here seems to get confused. I have had a brief conversation with someone over an instagram chat and now as I read this discussion, It seems that the person I was talking to is the same person tagging the article as an Autobiography. Yes, you are right. The user in concern here seems to tag article started in 2016 as a fresh article in his/her statement above which I may quote here "a you see this User:Abhishek8150 he has just created one page Puja Joshi". Being an actress, she may have fans in a large number and one of the person may have created such article in 2016 not knowing how she spelled her name and must have used the standard spelling of name "Pooja" which is a name for Girl child common in Gujarat and Maharashtra state of India. I am not saying this for sure, but after noticing how she spells her name as "Puja" using 'U' instead of 'OO' the user may have changed it to reflect with what her social media accounts would be. Not to forget, the article has many other contributors either registered Wikipedia users or public used IP editors. Which strikingly is far from it being an autobiography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IamParjanya (talkcontribs) 13:32, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
The Gigantic, I explicitly asked you to discuss this at Talk:Puja Joshi. The reality is that here at your talk page, only editors who watch your talk page will see this conversation. That is a couple of people at most at this time. It is probable that most of the registered editors who made changes to Puja Joshi are watching the article talk page. Please discuss your rationale for tagging this as an autobiography at Talk:Puja Joshi. I will not to discuss this further here. Peaceray (talk) 03:34, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
