NOSOCIAL

edit

Heya, I was asked to look at a few of your recent reverts. I should note that while WP:NOSOCIAL does say that we should avoid links to social media, it includes an explicit carve-out (WP:ELOFFICIAL specifically) that allows it when it is the primary "official" page of the subject. In the various reverts you performed, there were no official pages listed, making the Instagram pages the "official" page for the purposes of the article. I would encourage you to self-revert these edits, or find a stand-alone official website to add to those pages. Primefac (talk) 11:18, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Primefac, sorry if I made a mistake. I will take care of it in future. Thanks! The Chaos of Stars (talk) 11:34, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

June 2022

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Anupama: Namaste America, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ManaliJain (talk) 13:25, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
