Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:49, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Collaboration is not optional

edit

Your actions at this diff and this diff combined with your editing history indicate you are willfully ignoring the concerns of Howicus and Edwardx. This is potentially indicative that you are not here to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please refrain from making contested edits and instead collaborate on the talk pages when your block expires. -- Dane2007 talk 03:50, 21 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

The article you are authorizing is not correct!

1. O.D. Kobo was not born in Israel, he was born in Hong Kong check other sources which you are constantly removing 2. You are using only 1 article published without O.D. Kobo commentary to base the article this is trashing him, this is not appropriate and not fair. You must use all reference not only 1 and base the whole article on

You are taking the side of the vandal that started this and not replacing the correct information! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheErectile (talkcontribs) 09:26, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I count 13 articles. His being born in Israel is supported by an article in the New York Times, which we consider to be a reliable source. You need to be much more precise in pointing out what you think is incorrect and why, and provide reliable sources (see WP:RS) to support any changes you would like us to consider. Edwardx (talk) 10:09, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

1. Jewish Business News reports he was born in Hong Kong, as do about 4 other references. http://jewishbusinessnews.com/2016/09/27/roman-abramovich-oded-kobos-shellanoo-sell-anonymous-app-blindspot-and-mrc-app-to-chinese-for-32-million/

2. DealMaker also reports he was born in Hong Kong http://dealmakershub.com/od-kobos-high-profile-shellanoo-incubator-abruptly-cancels-tel-aviv-ipo/

3. MyHeritage profile lists him as being born in Hong Kong https://www.myheritage.co.il/research/collection-10182/biographical-summaries-of-notable-people?itemId=3329680&action=showRecord

4. His own Facebook profile says he was born in Hong Kong and went to Hong Kong International School (HKIS) https://www.facebook.com/kobo1

5. He sold Camden Market Holdings for $664 Million to fellow billionaire Teddy Sagi you never wrote about that once http://jewishbusinessnews.com/2014/03/16/teddy-sagi-buys-londons-camden-stables-market-in-deal-valued-at-us664-million/

6. He sold KGIM one of his China based companies for $75 million you never wrote about that either

7. Shellanoo Group raised $35 million you never mentioned that

8. He sold Blindspot app for $32 million you never wrote that http://nocamels.com/2016/09/israeli-app-blindspot-sold-32-million/

It seems you are hiding his true dealings and the worst of all you took one stupid quote from one article and built your whole piece on that which is wrong and misleading. Check the identity and source before you block me and claim all the nonsense you have!! You are wrong and taking the side of the vandal not the correct story - — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheErectile (talkcontribs) 18:25, 24 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TheErectile, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
