I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

This is to welcome you, as a statement of good faith on your willingness to discuss in a civil and constructive manner. Sometimes working here is bumpy and there is a labyrinth of rules one should be aware of but with polite discussion and willingness to collaborate with your fellow editors, even when they disagree strongly with you, you can enjoy happy editing on Wikipedia! --Cyclopiatalk 19:45, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ciao! edit

Ti ho risposto sulla mia talk page... mostly in English for openness reasons, but if you want to drop me a mail, there's an address for you. --Cyclopiatalk 21:36, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

WP:MEDRS edit

Read WP:MEDRS as was requested in the edit summary "edits that rely on primary sources should only describe the conclusions of the source". Thank you.--Nutriveg (talk) 20:09, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Formatting refs to PubMed edit

You might find http://diberri.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/templatefiller/?type=&id= useful. If you give it the PubMed id number ("PMID"), then it will produce a full and properly formatted citation. This is much better than the bare URLs that you've been adding. Alternatively, you can type the WP:Magic word PMID followed by the number to produce a quick link to the page, like this: PMID 19444934 WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on User talk:Nutriveg. Thank you.<!-Template:uw-agf2 --> Your continued assumption of bad-faith, even after multiple warning by myself and other editors/admins constitutes a violation of Wikipedia policy. Please stop. Wperdue (talk) 21:18, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Diabetes mellitus. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. <!-Template:uw-3rr --> --Barek (talkcontribs) 21:53, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Diabetes mellitus‎ edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.<!-Template:uw-tpv1 -->--Hu12 (talk) 17:42, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

NOTE: you were warned above not to edit war on the article at Diabetes mellitus. Using IPs to continue the edit war, despite warnings, can result in a block for continued violation of the three-revert rule, as well as for violations of using sock puppets. Policies apply per person, not per account. Policies such as the three-revert rule are for each person's edits. Using a second account to violate policy will cause any penalties to be applied to your main account, and in the case of sanctions, bans, or blocks, evasion causes the timer to restart. --Barek (talkcontribs) 18:46, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Diabetes mellitus. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. I will note that per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Testosterone vs diabetes, you have clearly used IPs accounts to further engage in edit-warring – engaging in sock puppetry. Please do not do this again; other editors will take note, they will report, and you will get blocked again if this happens again. Thank you, MuZemike 02:07, 31 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Last warning for personal attacks edit

Comment about DM edit

Hey TvD I added the comments by Uptodate. There is evidence to support your position. Wikipedia is a slow process however. Please make clear what you wish to add to the page on diabetes. If it is supported the by evidence I will support you addition. Add the exact wording to the talk page so we may discuss things. It is best to take things slow as Italian rather than English appears to be your first language. We appreciate your efforts however.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 04:28, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey TvD the definition of cure is that one does not require any further treatment of any kind as the condition which was treated no longer exists. Well management means that the condition is improved well on the treatment but ongoing treatment is needed to keep the condition in check. Hope that helps. Hello, Testosterone vs diabetes. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. It is located here. -- Brangifer (talk) 16:53, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
TvD, A YouTube video from "InLiesWeTrust.com" is not a reliable source for claims that HIV and other deadly diseases were spread to humans through vaccines. The source also does not support your claim that accidentally importing an infected monkey -- especially when the stated purpose was to not import the other monkeys, which were known to be sick -- is a crime. (Crimes are deliberate, intentional actions.)
I am disappointed that you are still having such difficulty with understanding Wikipedia's most basic policies. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:05, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
