Hi

Thanks for reverting the vandalism to my talk. I flipped the rollback bit on your account here, looks like you could use it. Please see this for our local policies, not that I think they differ much from how you guys use it at pt.wiki :) henriktalk 08:59, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

About Jasmine Fiore page

I edited that page several times to include her career in porn, but someone (perhaps you) kept removing it. Last time you asked for a media reference. Media didn't mention that part of her career (as well as it ignored my porn career, BTW). Just because media didn't mention something it doesn't mean it's untrue (also, not everything media DOES write about is true).

I do however have a link to a well-known porn website Oliver Klozov's girls (this is not about an englishman of slavic heritage, it's a word play: "all-of-'er clothes-off"). There Jasmine Fiore is displayed, under name April Vaughn, performing various sex acts. Sample link below: http://www.oliversgalleries.com/data/aprilV_4.html?id=353794

I didn't want to directly link to an explicit website, but if that's what it takes to establish the truth...

Now, I don't know if she appeared in any porn movies (in case that is what defines her as pornographic actress). In that case, I could refer to her as "a pornographic model".

Please let me know if you have any objections in light of this, and why. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.16.24.113 (talk) 20:12, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Sticky Prods

Hola Teles, re Jozef Adámik Sticky prods are for unsourced articles not poorly sourced ones. It takes a reliable source to remove a valid sticky prod, but it only takes a link that supports something about the subject to prevent an article being tagged in the first place. So the IP was quit right to remove that sticky prod. ϢereSpielChequers 11:36, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

it is a dravidian language.

this paragraph, you are reverting says,

According to famous linguist Chenchiah, Telugu is Vikriti, that is a language formed by modification of Sanskrit and Prakrit. It would appear that Andhras adopted a form of Prakrit, which, in course of development, became the immediate ancestor of Telugu.[8]

sanskrit, prakrit are INDO EUROPEAN languages NOT DRAVIDIAN. therefore the SOURCED sentence is COMPLETE NONSENSE.

THERE IS NO NEED TO IMPLEMENT THINGS LIKE INDO EUROPEAN LANGUAGES INTO THE ARTICLE

BTW THE TELUGU LANGUAGE HAS THE LARGEST DRAVIDIAN COMMUNITY. THERE IS NO NEED FOR A SOURCE FOR IT. YOU CAN EASILY SEE THIS IN THE INDIAN CENSUS PAPERS. VERY OFFICIAL.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.112.212.62 (talkcontribs) 00:06, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

It is well known that Telugu has enormous Indo-Aryan Sanskrit influence. It split from Proto Dravidian in 1500 BC before any literary activity began in Tamil land. Whole telugu literature is full of sanskrit. So this Indo-Aryan influence cannot be ignored
The earliest mention of the Andhras is said to be in Aitereya Brahmana (2000 B.C.). It indicates that the Andhras, originally an Aryan race living in north India migrated to south of the Vindhyas and later mixed with non-Aryans. Regular history of Andhra Desa, according to historians, begins with 236 B.C., the year of Ashoka's death. During the following centuries, Satavahanas, Sakas, Ikshvakus, Eastern Chalukyas, Kakatiyas ruled the Telugu country.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.169.187.182 (talkcontribs) 22:21, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer permission

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:24, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Page blanked by author

Hi. Though page blanking is usually vandalism and needs to be reverted, it is worth looking first at the page history, because quite often the author has blanked his own page, as with Basic Markup Language just now. In those cases the best thing is to tag it {{db-author}}. It can be confusing for an author who realises his page is inappropriate and blanks it, if his page is at once restored and he is accused of vandalism for the blanking and told it was unconstructive. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:08, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for passing here. I saw that, but I didn't do what you say for the following reason. That page was sent to speedy deletion, but the deletion was declined by a sysop (please, check the page history). In my opinion, that was just a mistake made by the creator. The predefined message sent to him says that if he want to delete it he should use the correct deletion process. So I thought that would be enough. Regards.” TeLeŞ(PT @ L C G) 10:18, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Apologies - I thought this was just an automatic reversion of a page blanking; and the message you gave is much better than the standard Huggle one which accuses the blanker of vandalism. In this case, as six hours had elapsed after HJMitchell declined a speedy, I think the author probably did intend deletion, and as a How-To his page would not have survived anyway. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:38, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
I understand. In fact, my message was a predefined message from Huggle (a good message indeed; educated and assuming good faith at the first level). You are correct. Thanks for you attention.” TeLeŞ(PT @ L C G) 20:50, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

My intent was not to remove it but to move it to another article. How is this hard to understand? You could help by not asuming ill intent.
83.250.32.20 (talk) 10:30, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
In this cases, you have - at least - to use the edit summary explaining your action. I believe if you are saying it is not vandalism, but that removal was clearly incorrect. Discuss that before at the talk page and wait for other comments. If I undestand your intention, you want to move that content to another title, is that correct? If so you should read "Help:Moving a page", because you can't just copy and paste the content. If you need any help, please write here again. Regards.” TeLeŞ(PT @ L C G) 20:59, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Notice that there are a few references at the bottom of the article that say that his name is "Frankie" and a few others that say it is "Frank". You may want to write on the article talk page about that controversy, but I request you to do not change the name until we have some other opinions about that. José Serra

I changed the reference on Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to keep it consistent with the same reference on the following paragraph. It doesn't make sense for two references so close to be spelled differently and even point to different pages. The second reference is better suited as "Lula" is the way Brazil's president is most often referenced. Vitordemario (talk) 20:20, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Vitor. You accidentally removed the accent from the name "Inácio" in your edit. That is why I reverted. The word "Lula" was already included in parenthesis. I blanked the Karnet Prison Farm page because I am requesting a move of Karnet Prison to Karnet Prison Farm. It is the proper name. I am having trouble moving it so I will request the move. [1]. Thompson.matthew (talk) 02:14, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Thompson. Are you sure it is necessary to blank the page? I think you just have to request it with the reason and with no need of blanking it. Need a help with the procedure?” TeLeS (T @ L C S) 02:21, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
I received an error moving it. Blanking it was a trial, but wasn't successful. I have nominated the article for moving here. Meanwhile, I moved Pardelup Prison to Pardelup Prison Farm without any problems. Thompson.matthew (talk) 02:34, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
You probably received this error message because the page already exists as a redirect. It will be necessary that a sysop first delete the target page and then move it (in fact, it is done in the same action). By blanking the page, you don't delete the page; the history is still there. That is why it didn't work either.” TeLeS (T @ L C S) 02:41, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Manx2 not an Airline of anywhere!!!

Teles,

I did not do anything but tell the truth. Manx2 is a ticketing agency not an airline. It does not have an AOC (The definition of an Airline) It is falsely in that section. It should be removed as I have done. Your own pages even state its not an Airline. :- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airlines_of_the_United_Kingdom

The UK CAA has a list on these pages:- http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=183&pagetype=90&pageid=340 and http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=183&pagetype=90&pageid=9068 and http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=183&pagetype=90&pageid=518

The Isle of Man CAA only register private aircraft they have no based airlines or AOC holders. All airlines operating or based in the Isle of Man must have an AOC from a state within the EU. Manx2 use EU airlines to operate a service for which the name Manx2 is used as a marketing name. You can check this with David Kendrick his address is at this link :- http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=148&pagetype=90&pageid=2319

An e-mail received from the Irish Aviation Authority: Dear Mr Hunter,

Mr Humphreys Director Safety Regulation has forwarded your e-mail sent 31st August 2010 regarding Manx2 activities for action.

Manx2 is a registered tour operator in Ireland by the Commission for Aviation Regulation details may be found on the Commission's website (http://www.aviationreg.ie/Licence_holders/Default.154.html).

Our understanding is that Manx2 sells airline tickets for various routes into and out of Ireland and the air operators carrying out these flights are European air operators with EU-OPS Air Operator Certificates.

As such there is nothing further the Irish Aviation Authority can do about the activities of Manx2, however, your comments regarding the air operators are noted and we shall look into the matter further as part of our surveillance programme.

Thanking you for your correspondence.

Yours sincerely,

Terry O'Neill, Assistant Director Flight Operations

This confirms that Manx2 are a ticketing agency and that they should be removed from the list and their page should be amended to reflect this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hunterda (talkcontribs) 07:22, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for writing. Do you have a source that clearly states that it is a ticketing agency? I mean... I believe when you say that, but we have to provide sources for what we write in an article. You said that it is 'not an airline', but I've found two pages that says that Manx2 is an airline of the Isle Of Man (see here: [2] [3]). If you are sure, I suggest you use the talk page of the article and wait for another opinion. Could you do that?” TeLeS (T @ L C S) 08:08, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Teles,

I gave you the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority that is the best source as they are the government department that issues operator certificates. What more do you want. I gave you the links to their website. You have the contact details of the head of department. If you don't take it down I will have to take legal action as what you have on Wikipedia about Manx2 are lies. I will change it again and keep changing until it stays that way. Manx2 are not an airline as the UK CAA. The Isle of Man have a CAA but do not have any airlines as they are only a private registry. Contact David Kendrick as I indicated at The UK CAA :- http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=148&pagetype=90&pageid=2319 :-

First of all: Please, don't talk about legal actions. It is not necessary and is not the best way to resolve this issue. You want the correct information on that article; me too. If you read again what I said above, you will notice that I did not say you are wrong and did not say that those are my last words. I just brought the fact that BBC said the agency is an airline. This info may not be correct and that is why I suggested you to use the article talk page.
You provided a good source that states it is not an airline (it's a source for what Manx2 is not). Again, I request a source for what Manx2 is, so that we can tell in the article what it is and not just what it is not. You said it is a ticketing agency; in the current version of the article is written that it is a virtual commuter airline. I'm not saying that any of these statements are incorrect, but whatever it is, have to be added with a verifiable reference.
You brought some numbers, contact page and e-mails. I thank you for your willing to show you are correct, but these contacts are not necessary, since there are others easier ways to solve the issue.
I am sure that we are all good faith users and we can solve it calmly. Maybe you want to join this conversation. Regards.” TeLeS (T @ L C S) 23:48, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

How is this vandalism?!

You recently reverted my changes in the article on Academic grading in Australia and have issued a warning, which I feel is a false positive. I edited the section on academic grades in schools because the information under this heading, I thought, was vague and inexact. The article stated that the percentiles in the table below were only approximate ranges for each grade. I simply gave the exact percentiles, having been a student at an Australian school with considerable knowledge of its grading policy. The grade descriptions in the table were replaced with those used by every shool associated with the Board of Studies. I have merely made this section more accurate. How can this possibly be vandalism? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.45.10 (talk) 07:34, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
