Saudi footballers

edit

Hi there. Please try to not create footballers who didn't play a single match in Saudi Professional League (which is the only fully-pro league in SA) as such players will most likely not meet wikipedia notability criteria set by WP:NFOOTY. Simply being in the team is not enough, they have to actually appear in the game. Thanks. --BlameRuiner (talk) 06:50, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I added players who play in the Prince Mohammad bin Salman League and it is also a professional league, but according to your regulations I will not add any page to the player who did not play in the Saudi Professional League . Tash-natasha (talk) 14:04, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Tash-natasha

Thank you for creating Muaid Moaafa.

User:Dps04, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Please note we usually cover articles only on footballers who played in a football team competing in a fully-professional league (WP:NFOOTY). While Al-Shabab plays on the Pro League of Saudi Arabia, Hetten does not, so please take note if you decide to create an article on a footballer who only plays for Hetten (or another club that does not compete in the Pro League). Thanks for your hard work on this article.

Hello, I will not add again any player who did not play in the Saudi Professional League . Tash-natasha (talk) 14:07, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, thanks for the quick reply! Under current guidelines (WP:NFOOTY), only articles on footballers who played in the Saudi Professional League will generally be kept. An exception could be made for those not fulfilling this criteria if they have received significant coverage elsewhere in multiple reliable sources. In the case of Muaid Moaafa, since he played in Al Shabab (which competes in the Pro League), this article probably passes the requirements so I reviewed it. Thanks for your contributions, and please let me know if you have any questions! --Dps04 (talk) 14:18, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
