The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! January 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Jaclar0529. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Camper and Nicholsons seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. jaclar0529 (talk) 11:58, 21 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello Tania Levrone. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Camper and Nicholsons, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Tania Levrone. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Tania Levrone|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 12:25, 21 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good Morning @Jaclar059 I am not directly nor indirectly being compensated for edits to Camper & Nicholsons Wikipedia page. There is absolutely no financial stake here, only to state the correct facts regarding the company. We only need to update our page with correct information regarding it’s history AND updated information for the past years up to the present. Camper & Nicholsons has since had new shareholders and investors, including updating our worldwide offices, giving more detailed information and providing further insight as to our past and present.

I can send you the document which clearly states what is on Wikipedia now and what needs to be added, so you can see that there is no personal point of views, but only clear facts.

Please advise on any further steps needed so we can update our company’s page and bring it up to date.Tania Levrone (talk) 09:51, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

I saw this, Tania Levrone. I'm afraid you've entirely misunderstood what we are here for.

{{paid|user=Tania Levrone|employer=Camper & Nicholsons}} Employer: Camper & Nicholsons Client: Camper & Nicholsons Affiliation: Marketing department of Camper & Nicholsons I can not find where exactly I should post the above, which you recommended. Can you please advise more specifically where I have to go to edit my user page?Tania Levrone (talk) 14:49, 10 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good Morning @Jaclar0529, we didn't receive any reply from you from our last message. I'm wondering if there is some way to talk with you or someone can help me to understand better how I can solve the problem. Can I call you or can you give me your email to open a thread? Just because I think is more simple to speak directly to understand how can we do. Or would it be possible that my colleague from our Florida office can somehow join in on this conversation for better understanding of what we must do in order to update our Wikipedia text. I understand what you asked me to do last time, but technically, I can not find where I can change the “paid” on my title page.Tania Levrone (talk) 07:43, 27 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Jaclar0529, I saw your message with the link for Teahouse and Helpdesk but now is disappeared. Can you please send me again because I can not find the link on the website. In this way we can contact the right person to fix it the issue.Tania Levrone (talk) 10:27, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
