Orphaned non-free image File:Hamza Robertson - Something About life.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Hamza Robertson - Something About life.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

License tagging for File:Kamal Uddin - Illallah.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Kamal Uddin - Illallah.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Wajid Akhtar

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wajid Akhtar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Eeekster (talk) 00:56, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Fedz

The article Fedz has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film with little to no coverage

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ibrāhīm Mojāb

Can you please assist with information on this page (Ibrāhīm Mojāb) I cannot read Arabic and would like assistance on his date, life etc. He seems to be a distant relative of the Muhammad bin Yahya al-Ninowy page that you created.

Many thanks - --Princeofpersia1 (talk) 16:06, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Salaam brother. What I would suggest first of all is to name the article 'Ibrahim Mujab' as this is what the person is most commonly known as and it makes it easier for people to find them when searching, for example if you a search on Google with both Ibrāhīm Mojāb and Ibrahim Mujab, you'll find Ibrahim Mujab returns more hits. The simplest way to do this is probably to blank the page out completely so it gets deleted and start again with 'Ibrahim Mujab'.
I can not read Arabic either, I am not familiar with what exactly he is famous for. However what I would suggest is for you to do research on him and try to find references online, print etc this would ensure you have a strong case for notability otherwise you may find that your article will be easily deleted due to failing to meet Wikipedia's notability of people. I hope this helps. Tanbircdq 17:16, 27 December 2012 (UTC).

MOS

  • Please stop linking nations. It's against WP:OVERLINK: "the names of major geographic features and locations".
  • Uncommon names appear to be against WP:MOSBIO. If a subject is not widely known by his chosen Muslim name, then it should not be mentioned in the lede. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:52, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
