Hello Taimour sheikh. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Hadayat & Co., gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Taimour sheikh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Taimour sheikh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:46, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Taimour sheikh, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Taimour sheikh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 09:57, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think you attempted to declare a paid relationship, but you used the incorrect template(one for article talk pages). Please follow the instructions in the message above. 331dot (talk) 09:33, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi I tried to declared this on my user page before even writing the article but I don't know why it wasn't confirmed maybe my template wasn't correct. However, I have tried again to disclose it. I am actually not directly paid by the organization to contribute to Wikipedia but I am employed in the company. So please tell me will this article be eligible or should I stop trying? Taimour sheikh (talk) 09:54, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I fixed your disclosure, you had wikicoding in place(probably inadvertently) to suppress its proper display. Employment counts as paid editing, so you have now made the proper disclosure.
Wikipedia is not a place for companies to tell about themselves and what they do. Wikipedia articles about companies must primarily summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company.
What are your top three independent reliable sources with significant coverage of your company? These should not be your own company website, staff interviews, press releases, mere announcements of activities, brief mentions, or any other materials put out by the company. 331dot (talk) 10:00, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks a lot for fixing this issue. You've been a great help. Here are my top 3 reliable sources:
https://www.urdupoint.com/business/directory/detail/hadayat-co-111856.html
https://www.dnb.com/business-directory/company-profiles.hadayat__sons.52f1c59a8200db742a0468f79087a05d.html
https://www.signalhire.com/companies/hadayat-sons Taimour sheikh (talk) 10:42, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
These three are all directory-type listings, which are not significant coverage of the topic(and often are based on information provided by the company). If these are your three best sources, your company does not merit a Wikipedia article at this time. What is needed are independent sources like news reports that go into detail on their own, not based on materials from the company, about what makes a company important/significant/influential as they see it. Ford Motor Company merits an article not because it exists and manufactures cars for sale, but because independent reliable sources have written extensively about Ford and its influence on manufacturing as well as American society as a whole. It doesn't contain what Ford considers to be its own history, but what others say is its history. Microsoft is another example of a good article about a company.
If independent sources on their own recognize your company as particularly influential or important and write about it, that's what we need summarized. 331dot (talk) 10:49, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for clarification. I'll look into finding better resources. Taimour sheikh (talk) 05:33, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
