Fair use of images edit

Hi TDFan2006, I noticed your reversion of Mrschimpf's edit, here. I'm curious if you happened to read any of the guidelines he provided in his edit? I'm looking over WP:NFCI for example and it indicates that corporate logos can be used for identification, but we've already identified Cartoon Network in the infobox. A logo gallery (though interesting to me personally) doesn't seem consistent with this. I also think that the "minimal use" aspect of the free use policy (WP:NFCCP) might not be adhered to if there is a gallery. Just a thought. Yeah, I'm confused. TDFan2006 (talk) 19:00, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Over the years we've ratcheted down the use of WP:FAIRUSE logos in articles; years ago there were articles solely made up of only galleries which were completely unencyclopedic in any way and were just decorative, and now there are multiple ways (Logopedia for instance) to find out a channel's logo history without clogging up space here, where text description works just as well as visual images. Nickelodeon in their UK history only has had two logotypes; we don't need four examples of the older version to express what one does already. There is no slighting of your work being done, just following the fair use image guidelines established after years of debate. Nate (chatter) 07:44, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sigh... Fine then. I'm only trying to help out. TDFan2006 (talk) 07:51, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh, oh, and the splat logo wasn't used until 2002. Get your facts straight. The Toon Disney Guy (talk) 11:54, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

I really don't know what your issue is, but the Sky 1 gallery is fine because they've had multiple logos and critical commentary to go with it, along with the CN articles (although I'm not going through every international variation). My issue is solely with decorative use of logo images of galleries solely to decorate articles. I'm just following guidelines that the community has finessed over the years, and I don't find an objection to that. Nate (chatter) 14:32, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I get it. The Toon Disney Guy (talk) 18:27, 10 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Avengers/Iron Man 3 edit

Hello, I started a talk page discussion on the list of Paramount Pictures films page. About adding Avengers and Iron man 3 to the page. Thanks for reading this message and have a good day. – TreCoolGuy (talk) 3, March 2014 (UTC)

FOX Animated Universe edit

I have started a discussion on the talk page for the FOX Animated Universe to keep it. You can find the discussion right here. Thanks and have a good day. - TreCoolGuy (talk) 09 March 2014 (UTC)

Disney XD edit

I've reverted the move. I would highly recommend that rather than trying to move an already established page, that you discuss any potential moves and major restructuring at Talk:Disney XD and/or at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disney. Other editors have requested the article be moved back, and moves should only be done if they are uncontroversial and/or a consensus has been reached.
