Speedy deletion nomination of Courthouse in Września

edit

Hello SyossuPL,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Courthouse in Września for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Dudel250 (talk) 11:50, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Misuse of multiple accounts

edit

This (Special:Contributions/Marcin.pietrzyk) is you using another account. I'm going to block one of these accounts, please let me know which one you wish to retain the use of. Nick (talk) 12:36, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

PamD has just told me this is a class project, so please ignore my message above. You do need to make sure that you inform editors of what you and your school/class is doing. There have been reports of sockpuppetry, reports of edit warring and requests to have the accounts of you and your classmates blocked. The administrators here are not mind readers. Nick (talk) 15:25, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Nick Not so sure: if this is a school project as this editor has said at User_talk:Dudel250#courthouse_in...., then Martin is probably a class-mate: he's working on a different article, Water towers in Września. WP:AGF. PamD 14:47, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
PamD I did assume good faith, that is why I gave the user the chance to choose which account they intended to use when it looked like they were using more than one account and it's why I've not blocked any accounts for sock or meat puppetry, edit warring or vandalism. My initial assumption was we had a user who had seen their work speedily deleted and simply registered another account to contribute another article, a fairly common occurrence. School project

edit

I notice that you say at User_talk:Dudel250#courthouse_in.... "Courthouse in Września is my school project and my teacher told me to do it." I'm sorry you have had a difficult time: Wikipedia is edited by a lot of different editors, and sometimes mistakes are made. School and university projects can cause problems, either for the students or for the encyclopedia - though of course they can also be a great asset to the encyclopedia and a useful education for the students. Please ask your teacher to read Wikipedia:School and university projects, which explains a lot and can help you all to benefit from your class project. Welcome to Wikipedia, and Happy Editing! Courthouse article deletion

edit

Hi SyossuPL, Sorry about deleting the courthouse article, I didn't pay enough attention and ignored the fact that the A7 deletion criterion does not apply to buildings. Errors are being made, but I have corrected mine and restored the article. If you have questions, don't hesitate to come to my talk page and ask there. If I don't know the answer myself, I usually know where or whom to ask. I hope you won't be discouraged by this rough start. Usually, WP is a rather caring community (or at least tries to be one), you had bad luck today... --Randykitty (talk) 15:14, 24 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
