His language may have been stronger than safe here, but he was absolutely justified. Betacommand has been tagging things for deletion and removing images from articles when in the same amount of time he could just as easily fix the rationales, as I've had to do after him on several recent occasions. Instead he chooses to take the action guaranteed to piss off good contributors. It's baiting, it's counter to the spirit of community and it's tiresome.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 20:01, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- The block wasn't because of his edit, it was because of the personal attack in his edit summary. [stwalkerster|talk] 22:13, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- I know, I'm saying there's a reason he exploded like that. Some users push because they can, and it gets old.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 04:25, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the help
I wanted to work on those articles, hoping they might be better with more sources. This gives me a place to work on them. About the Razorclaw article, should I just copy the article to my userspace from the history, and work on it there? Mathewignash (talk) 19:11, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... not sure about that one. Tempted to say move it, but might be better to do another history split. Give me a sec... [stwalkerster|talk] 19:17, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- User:Mathewignash/Razorclaw too. :) [stwalkerster|talk] 19:22, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

This was a very premature move! Did you actually look at the article and the changes made? Unless a lot more is done it should go back. It might have been better to start over with one of the redirects uin fact. Johnbod (talk) 03:10, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... I respectfully disagree. While the article is mainly about the history, it also has a bit about what an Art Auction is - I think this is the better title. If it gets to the point where it'd be worth splitting the history into a new article, then that could be done. [stwalkerster|talk] 22:07, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Trouted
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
You have been trouted for: YOUR REASON HERE
- Thanks! However, may I enquire why? [stwalkerster|talk] 22:08, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

if you reply here. Thanks, Tyw7 (☎ Contact me! • Contributions) Changing the world one edit at a time! 11:44, 25 January 2011 (UTC)- Because you're on it's ignore list. [stwalkerster|talk] 18:05, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
I thought you moved me over to semi-ignored. Also I did not see my username in the access list of the bot --Tyw7 (☎ Contact me! • Contributions) Changing the world one edit at a time! 23:54, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I did. For some reason you got moved back to ignored, and the actual ignore list is hidden for most people on security grounds. [stwalkerster|talk] 16:50, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Who moved me back to ignore and for what reason? If possible can you please set me as semi-ignored or "normal" again. If you take a look at the logs I did not abuse the bot.
Plus, isn't this the access list? http://helpmebot.org.uk/w/index.php/Special:AccessList Tyw7 (☎ Contact me! • Contributions) Changing the world one edit at a time! 19:12, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know why, and the logs from around the turn of the year are about 500M per day of plain text (function tracing etc). That is indeed the access list, yes. [stwalkerster|talk] 02:06, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- So that's not the ignore list the bot uses? If so, I can't find my name there. So can you please re-add me to the semi-ignore or "normal" so I can use the !link feature :D thx. --Tyw7 (☎ Contact me! • Contributions) Changing the world one edit at a time! 02:45, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Please see what I wrote above, and what's written on that page for why you can't find your name there. [stwalkerster|talk] 07:16, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
