File:Predicted CORO6 structure.jpg edit

Hello, Stillulent and welcome to Wikipedia. :)

I'm afraid there are some copyright issues with the file File:Predicted CORO6 structure.jpg that we need to resolve. First, your rationale for why this image is public domain - "This file is in the public domain, because Phyre2 is the bioinformatic program for academic use" - is not accurate. Phyre2 may be a bioinformatic program for academic use, but that doesn't make it public domain. If it were public domain, they could not restrict its use as they do: 'Phyre is for academic use only'. Unless we have a release from the copyright holder (see WP:IOWN, if you are the copyright holder or WP:Permission if you are not), we can only use screenshots of programs in accordance with Wikipedia:Screenshot. Because Phyre2 is not public domain, I've had to remove the image from our website until we do receive permission.

I'm sorry for the complication; if you have any questions about this, please feel free to come by my talk page. You can also visit media copyright questions if you want to ask about the usability of images or Wikipedia:Teahouse if you have general questions about editing and just want a friendly environment for new contributors. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:08, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
