Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Stew Pidd Crow. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Anglian Windows, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 20:56, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Riccardo Ghedin. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 04:39, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be here mainly for advertising[1] and vandalism (see Riccardo Ghedin). Stop before you're blocked indefinitely as not being here to contribute to the encyclopedia. Bishonen | talk 22:51, 30 March 2016 (UTC).Reply

Pr WP:ARBPIA3#500/30, editors with less than 500 edits (like you) should not edit "any page that could be reasonably construed as being related to the Arab-Israeli conflict." Huldra (talk) 22:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

This obviously includes 1948 Palestinian exodus from Lydda and Ramle, so please stop editing it,or you risk being blocked, Huldra (talk) 22:58, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Right, I didn't know. I have just this minute spotted your messages. Rules or not, I don't know why you are reverting my edits when they are blatantly sourced and good faith. Stew Pidd Crow (talk) 23:00, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
You obviously need to learn a lot more before you edit in as contentious an area as the Israel/Palestine one. Your source does not fulfil WP:RS, Huldra (talk) 23:07, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yeah and your revision doesn't even contain a source. Stew Pidd Crow (talk) 23:27, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
