Onverse

edit

Hi Steve. If you posted at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Onverse, I suggest not using press releases or blogs or websites for the references. Stick to the more common news outlets, such as Arizona Republic and Reuters. Put each reference into its own Template:Citation, which helps editors determine the legitimacy of the sources used. Except for the lead paragraph, put a reference at the end of each sentence. Also, each sentence should be a summary of what an independent, reliable source says so do not try to write the article based on what you think is Onverse is supposed to be. Let the third party reliable sources that are independent of Onverse tell the Onverse story. Use one of the articles listed in Category:FA-Class video game articles as a template on how to write a Wikipedia article on Onverse. - -Jreferee (talk) 04:59, 8 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, StevePierceII. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article [[The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:40, 20 January 2016 (UTC)]], you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:Reply

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.
