You seem to be having some difficulties

I checked the logs, and going back to 11 June, you seem to have created 34 extant categories, and had a further 50 deleted at yours or others request. People are commenting about you at WP:CFD, for example Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2011 August 6. Your naming conventions seem problematic to others, and there is concern that you are creating duplication. Perhaps you'd have a look at what people are saying and respond. There seem to be plenty of people around with whom these sets of categories could be discussed before you start, which might save a lot of work all round, including for you, who seems to be spending a lot of time transferring things about. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 23:41, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Stefanomione, I would just echo the above comments and encourage you, as I did before, to participate in the CFD discussions that are started regarding the categories you create. In the process of creating ill-named and unnecessary parent-categories (starting in May 20011, which I did - of course - unintentionally), I composed some 150 categories (e.g. novels set in X, plays set in X, X by medium, documentary films about X, ...) which are still standing and being expanded. Reading the discussions I learn a lot and applicate things immediately in my French, Italian and Dutch contributions. Going back further than 11 June: 1800 categories created, 1600 never discussed (and still expanded). Wikipedia is a process, I will contribute in making things more transparent. That's not entirely correct. X by medium has begun to be cut back and likely will continue to be so, as it is an unneeded duplicate of Works about X or the more problematic Works "by" X. You're right. I created Category:Works by medium, Category:Topics by medium and Category:Genres by medium much earlier. They seem well-named and necessary. And I agree, the Category:Countries by medium should be considered deleted, merged, renamed... Stefanomione (talk) 17:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

Or if you agree with the nomination, why don't you state that you agree? Category:Comics based on media

It's simple to remove the category from the entries that were still in that category, but only once you know, and it's tricky to find out in the first place. Go to Gang Busters (comics) — just below the page title of "Gang Busters", you'll see "Gang Busters (comics)" in blue; click that link, and you'll be able to edit the redirect, including removing the 1947 debuts, crime comics, and DC Comics categories, and you can add more. I've removed all the categories from three remaining pages that were in Category:Comics based on media and deleted the category, so there's nothing now to worry about.
