Springer Opera House edit

Good start to your article! I've noticed you've used Clason Kyle's In Order of Appearance in working on it. I was the contributing ediot on that book (my bio is on the back dust jacket flap) and I'd be more than willing to help with this artile. Please let me know if you'd be interested in working together. *Exeunt* Ganymead | Dialogue? 01:18, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely, I would more than welcome it! I'm not aiming to write the entire article myself. My sole reason for starting it is that there was none, and it seemed like there was a large hole in Wikipedia without it. There are renovations and restorations yet to cover, and examples of notable performances. I'd also like to see the page graced with a picture or two before calling it complete. Steevo714 02:06, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I have a CD with all the pictures we used for the book. Most of them are public domain so there shouldn't be a problem. Thoese that are more recent, I can probably procure premission to use. *Exeunt* Ganymead | Dialogue? 02:19, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's great to hear! Nice job with the book, by the way. I've only had it since yesterday, but the parts that I've read are great. I've certainly learned a great deal more about the history of the theater than what I knew going in. Steevo714 02:52, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Wcbradleycologo191.png edit

Hello Steevo714, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Wcbradleycologo191.png) was found at the following location: User:Steevo714. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 06:56, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Parnello's Pizza edit

Hello Steve... just a quick note on Parnello's Pizza about why it was added and why it was deleted. It seems from my perusal of Pizzerias that many small "mom and pop" pizza restaurants are included, so I thought "Why not Parnello's?"

On my return, when I have more time, I'll look into why it was deleted while other similar places are not... anyway, I see you seem to be from, or have a familaiarity with Columbus, Georgia, and I look forward to reading your contributions.

Wikimania Atlanta edit

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 07:20, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wcbradleycologo191.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Wcbradleycologo191.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Frank Martin (mayor) edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Frank Martin (mayor), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image (File:Sprint Cup2008 550.png) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sprint Cup2008 550.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ZooFari 22:03, 7 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Better source request for File:Wcbradleycologo191.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Wcbradleycologo191.png. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:45, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
