@Statecraft76: I removed your recent edit request at Talk:American Psychological Association per your stated interest and with the stated consent of Þjarkur. The request is, of course, still in that page's edit history. Because Þjarkur moved the original information with your name to an archived page, I don't support removing the original information since archive pages should not be edited. I recommend that you should not be embarrassed about the information; as a psychologist you know that we all make mistakes, and this one is extremely minor, so as long as you have learned from it there is no shame at all. If anyone gives you a hard time about it, just show them this comment by me or send them to my talk page and I will give them a lecture about the inevitability of error—especially on Wikipedia. @Biogeographist: Yes, your response about the inevitability of error gave me a good laugh. I understand, of course, that the comment is still in the page's edit history. I was mostly concerned that the comment, in the absence of more contextual information, could be misconstrued to suggest something nefarious about my reasons for updating the APA wikipedia article with respect to the 2015 resolution related to torture. I've also come to have a greater appreciation for how the internet records everything we do these days, so ensuring that my stances on issues like this is important to me. I appreciate your comment!
