Your GA nomination of Tokyo

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Tokyo you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of David Eppstein -- David Eppstein (talk) 18:21, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Tokyo

The article Tokyo you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Tokyo for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Vandalism

I don't think I should be accused of Vandalism. I'm in the particular Facebook group that is doing these edits and are trying to keep track of them and revert them. check this link for proof. Thanks 82.21.79.20 (talk) 23:07, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Chris

Further vandalism

Just want to reiterate that there is an absurd amount of people vandalising famous figures that frequently mentiioned on the BBC show "Horrible Histories" I am in a Facebook group were this is happening and am trying to do my best to stop it. 82.21.79.20 (talk) 23:22, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Chris

  • All I see from your facebook "group" is people admitting to block evasion. Best on you to shut up and knock it off. startTerminal {haha wow talk page | startTerminal on irc} 23:23, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
Best on me to knock it off? I am trying to help Wikipedia in the very best way I can. I apologise unreservedly if I offended you in any way but this group is not mine. Yes I am a part of it but I am not taking part in any of the vandalism. Like I have said already the only thing I am trying to do is undo all of the offendsive edits. I'm sorry if I was going about this the wrong way, I don't use Wikipedia often enough to know how to deal with this properly but thought that it would be kind if I gave you the source of this so you could maybe you could fix it in a better way than I am. Once again I apologise if I've offended you, I mean no harm. 82.21.79.20 (talk) 23:37, 1 May 2018 (UTC) Chris
Your actions have not proved that you are here to revert vandalism. Why don't you just look at the comments on the one post in your facebook "group", would you.

I want to make it clear again that I'm trying to fix this. I am asking you for help. I was reverting multiple edits back to their original form without the vandalism present. Yes the comments say horrible things, but again I'm not taking part in any of the vandalism, I'm sorry if I'm going about this the wrong way. 82.21.79.20 (talk) 23:44, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Chris
To quote yourself,

I'm in the particular Facebook group that is doing these edits

StartTerminal, I don't see any reason to assume that 82.21.79.20 was not editing in good faith. They shouldn't have to "prove" that they are here to revert vandalism, it should be assumed that they are here for what they say they are here for until there is a reason to assume otherwise. Please do try to assume good faith. Thanks. —{{u|Goldenshimmer}}|✝️|they/their|😹|T/C|☮️|John 15:12|🍂 15:13, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

I had removed the section due to WP:IPC, but you reverted it. I had put the {{in popular culture}} template as well, but you reverted that as well. It was poorly written, had no sources, and were just random references to Norse mythology with no significance.

  1. Has the subject (if a person or organization) acknowledged the existence of the reference? no
  2. Have multiple reliable sources pointed out the reference? no
  3. Did any real-world event occur because of the cultural element covered by the reference? no
  4. Did the referencing material significantly depend on the specific subject? For example, if the reference is to a specific model of car, did the material use that model car for some reason, or was it just a case of "use a well-known name of a car"? yes

That is one of four
