Bouquets & Barnstars edit

  What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
For providing a solution concerning adding (Page numbers) in long PDF documents that will "improve Wikipedia in a profound way". Otr500 (talk) 13:26, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
I have had to read entirely more than necessary to find specific information and this "nugget" of information is a valuable solution.
I do find this worthy of a bouquet (throwing flowers etc...) but in my opinion it is more worthy of a barnstar. I have never presented any award before so I hope it is correct. Otr500 (talk) 13:26, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

A talk is going on about this solution in the community. See --> Module talk:Citation/CS1/Archive 11#PDF page links - SourceOhWatch (स्रोतः उवाच) 19:53, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 21 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Michael Phelps, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AFP. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Gorkha earthquake or Himalayan earthquake? edit

Hi,Sourceonwatch. You have reverted some edits regarding name of the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. What I want to make you clear is that it's international practice to name earthquake by it's epicenter. You can see examples of it here in wikipedia of Kashmir earthquake,Suchuan earthquake and many more. The citation for Gorkha earthquake clearly says that. I think you are having problem with Nepali but you can use Google Translate to understand it. The citation you are providing just says Himalayan earthquake which isnt it's name. However, if you think I'm wrong or I've misunderstood, we can have talk over the article's page or my talk page. Any suggestions are welcomed and admired. Thankyou. Thank you for your work on Social Media in Nepal Earthquake edit

I feel much more is needed to develop the concept of the local population using social media, the search for the disappeared, the connection with the diaspora, in fundraising, in the very small efforts that, added up, are much larger than anything the Nepal Government or International Aid can do. I appreciate that you are working that part with attention, please don't give up. I might not agree with all that you say there, but I want to encourage you to keep the effort alive. Quotes edit

I'm sorry. I was trying to be nice. Quotes should NOT be on wikipedia like this. They belong on wikiquote.*Treker (talk) 11:35, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
