Tabloids and BLP

edit

Hi Snkn179. We should almost never use tabloids in a WP:BLP (in fact many, including me, don't think they should be used in any article). I have reverted your edit on Craig Thomson (referee) because the information was sourced to this. There are also issues of WP:Undue weight with such entries (i.e. devoting a whole paragraph to criticising a referee for one game in a biography of his whole career). There are usually game or tournament articles where this information fits in much better. If it has a demonstartable effect on his career then it needs a mention, otherwise it is bog standard complaining from fans, players and managers. AIRcorn (talk) 20:11, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

RE: "Unexplained removal of content". In cases of obvious vandalism, an explination really isn't needed. Please be more careful when editing WP:BLPs. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 12:16, 14 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
