Why was I blocked for disruptive editing.

My block edit

Why was I blocked. What was this "Distruptive Editing". Is there any way i can get unblocked, i don't use an IP address I'm an account user. I don't make disruptive edits, in my edit history i have all constructive edits. So can i please be unblocked by an admin. Herpetology (talk) 02:23, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't see any indication that you were ever blocked. Perhaps it had something to do with the IP address you were logging in from? I notice that you have edited a couple of articles in the last 24 hours, so perhaps there is no problem anymore. Who said something about disruptive editing? I don't see any record of that. Frankly, your edits don't look very high quality and professional, but they don't look like vandalism either, and I don't see any reason why someone would block you for the kind of editing that you have done. I'm not an admin, but I'm a pretty experienced Wiki-editor, and I'm willing to try to help if you have some question or problem. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:56, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I was trying to edit a page around late February and it said I was blocked for Distruptive editing even though I was was logged in, that block expired on March 3 2016 I feel like it probably does have something to do with my IP. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snake dude (talkcontribs) 21:38, 8 March 2016‎ (UTC)Reply

If it happens again, there are some instructions for how to request an exemption that are found at WP:IPBLOCK. That might take care of it. —BarrelProof (talk) 22:40, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks barrel proof have a good day, its not happening anymore.

Why am I named Snakedude? edit

Some admins may know I edit a lot of snake and reptile articles not to mention my username is snake dude. I named myself that because I have a deep interest in reptiles particularly snakes. My favorite non venomous snake are kingsnakes. My favorite venomous snake is the Mojave rattlesnake. Never the less I love all snakes and all reptiles. I can't wait to one day become a herpotologist and start field helping and looking for reptiles. I once held a pueblan milk snake around my neck and also held a ball python twice as well as a baby alligator. I got blocked for "Distruptive editing(above)". My other interests besides animals are technology, and learning. I am somewhat of a perverted person (not something I'm proud of) I use a lot of profanity at school and I have been suspended twice for saying sexual profane stuff. I am a snake lover. Just introducing myself please welcome me, why I very well might become the future Steve Irwin(rest in peace God bless him he had a lot of balls to be handling snakes and crocodiles like that). Have a good happy lovely day fellow editors. See y'all next time Herpetology (talk) 02:31, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Coral snake page edit edit

So i was on the coral snake page where they mentioned something about them being unclear if the texas coral snake is a separate species. I was going to add according to my scientific herpetological research that maybe the Texas coral snake is a westward population of the eastern coral snake. Is it a good edit. I didn't make the edit because unfortunately I'm blocked (i don't understand why they are talking about an IP address I'm an account user not an IP user and i didn't make that edit to the donkey wild ass article it was an IP User i mean i am perverted but i don't make edits like that its bulls**t.) please exuse my profanity. So anyways is that a good edit to make let me know in your replies please. Have a good day fellow editors. sighned herpetology.

Please don't fuck with me while I'm in a bad mood edit

I just want this to be a good fucking lesson for you all Please please do not fuck with me while I'm pissed because someone did and my back pack is almost worn away. Have a good day fellow editors. March 2016 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Dick (surname) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 22:37, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm very surprised and disappointed. That was a really bad edit. Has your account been hacked? —BarrelProof (talk) 23:15, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Sierra Madre Occidental. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:29, 14 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dude my content was not unsourced black tailed rattlesnakes and Mexican west coast rattlesnakes actually do live In those mountains you can check thier wildlife stuff and sites, and okay maybe it's not a professional edit but I find it to be silly to freakin BLOCK me over that it's not like. I'm vandalizing the page I was editing in good faith and was trying to help this article, so don't block me over that. Sorry to offend you. Have a good day.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Western diamondback rattlesnake. Magnolia677 (talk) 02:40, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't think your edits (at least most of them, except for that one) are so bad, but you need to learn more about editing Wikipedia. There are two principles that I suggest you to become familiar with. The first is that when you change an article so that it says something is a fact, you should cite some WP:RELIABLE source to support the statement. The second is to pay attention to the WP:WEIGHT and focus of an article. For example, if something is true about all snakes, or is true about all rattlesnakes (e.g., that they have hemipenes), then we shouldn't add redundant statements in the article for every individual species to talk about that. We should just say that in the article that's about the whole family group that has that characteristic. At least that's generally true. Otherwise our articles get way too long and contain way too much hard-to-maintain, repetitive information. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:41, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks barrel proof, have a lovely happy day my fellow editor.
It would also be a good idea for you to read WP:CIVIL (about this, in particular). You may also be interested to know that the messages that are threatening to block you are standard user warnings that are used frequently on Wikipedia. The warnings tend to escalate in severity when people see that a user has been warned before. (See, for example, Category:Standardised user warning templates.) If you keep your wits about you and respond politely and try to learn from what people are saying, you're unlikely to actually be blocked (and if you're blocked, it probably won't be for very long). —BarrelProof (talk) 16:32, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Dick's Sporting Goods— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:03, 22 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ball with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. e0steven(☎Talk|✍Contrib) 22:40, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Concerns with your signature edit

Hi, Snake dude! I'm reaching out to you again because your signature appears to violate Wikipedia's policy on properly formatted and used signatures. Specifically, your signature text is "Herpetology" (which is a registered account - see here), but your actual account is (obviously) "Snake dude". I'd like to give you an opportunity and kindly ask you to change your signature so that follows the Wikipedia signature policy. If you are interested in changing your username to be Herpetology, you can request an usurpation of that username (just click the link and follow the directions). I wanted to let you know that changing your username is possible as well. Thanks in advance :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 22:38, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

C'mon edit

It's clear from your userpage and several of your edits that you know a lot about snakes, and have a passion for them. That's great—it makes you an editor that could do a lot of good for the English Wikipedia. However, you're making things unnecessarily difficult for both yourself and others. I'm fairly sure you do realize that posting stuff like this isn't in any way constructive, and you've been blocked for similar stunts before. At some point, the admins and the community will lose their patience with you, y'know, and just give you an indef block. I genuinely believe that would be a waste, but if you keep posting random swears like that on other people's user talkpages, I can see where they'd be coming from.   AddWittyNameHere (talk) 21:04, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Indefinite Block edit

Hi I just got indefinitely blocked, and I believe in my opinion that is a bit make that very unfair. I have no clue what the f you mean by not here to build an encyclopedia. Okay yea I did make some disruptive edits but I have tried to be constructive and make edits. I made an edit once in a rattlesnake article about hemipenes and tried to add more information about rattlesnake reproduction on the reproduction section. And I tried to add info about some stuff. Forget about the edit I made to dick, ball, dicks sporting goods and this stuff. Please lift the block or at least make it short, I won't make any inappropriate things on Wikipedia anymore please. I AM here to build an encyclopedia believe it or not, I have tried my best to make something useful and they always get reverted and I get threats then I get a block on March-April then I get a indefinite block. That's very freakin unfair. Please I will be civil and nice and stop being inappropriate just please give me a chance to change. This is for you Yamaguchi the blocker.
