Thank you for the request
I hope you'll forgive me but I cannot join something that will get me more involved in Wikipedia. I have exams coming up and another personal issue this summer. I will reconsider after my exams but I can't say I will be sure since I might not be "here", this summer. Sorry. --→ Ãlways Ãhëad (talk) 23:18, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Bengali Films
Hi, your bot has has included most of the wikipages on Bengali films under WikiProject:Pakistan. Are you sure that there are members in this project to contribute on these pages on Bengali Films? Thanks. GDibyendu (talk) 12:32, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
SMS Bot tagging
I can understand Mukh O Mukhosh being under WP:PAK, but how does Apur Sansar or Titash Ekti Nadir Naam fall under that project? I think the tagging method used by your bot to tag Pakistan-related articles has some bugs in it. --Ragib (talk) 16:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto
Stop vandalizing Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. As much as you hate it, Bhutto was a Shi'a Muslim, as is his whole family. 77.42.187.213 (talk) 17:32, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Re:
Reference? Everybody knows that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto is a Shi'a Muslim, despite the fact that in Pakistan, ignorant Sunni parents tend to teach their children, like you, that Shi'as are to be found only in Hell and in Wonderland. 77.42.187.213 (talk) 17:38, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- The article always stated that Bhutto is Shi'a until a Sunni editor, probably you, vandalized the article and changed the religion is many articles. Special:Contributions/81.149.22.123. see this. It's interesting to see that after this Sunni vandalized the articles, you were there to make sure that no one would change it back. But I guess this is standard ill-intentioned Sunni behavior. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.42.187.213 (talk) 17:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
You have the nerve to post these notices on my talk page. This is really pathetic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.42.187.213 (talk) 20:43, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Bengali and other "Pakistani" films
Salaam, Sarmad! I just noticed that GDibyendu posted a message on your talk page saying that your bot is tagging Bengali film-related articles under Wikiproject:Pakistan.
I myself noticed that what it is actually doing is to tag all pages in the subcategories listed here under Wikiproject:Pakistan. That means all films that are in Bengali, Sindhi, Pashto, or Punjabi - and all films classified as "English language South Asian films" - are tagged as part of the Pakistani Wikiproject, though only very few of the Bengali- or English-language films have anything to do with Pakistan. (Of course, just because a film is in e.g. Pashto doesn't necessarily mean it's part of Wikiproject:Pakistan, either(!)...though as of now, all of the Pashto-language films listed are indeed Pakistani).
Could you please fix this? Sorry to bother you about it! --Kuaichik (talk) 04:11, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK! It'll take some time to list all of them, but I'll try! :) --Kuaichik (talk) 04:39, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've started listing these...see here! It may take a long time (years?) before this list is finished, but...well, I have something! --Kuaichik (talk) 06:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

New Project
Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 07:01, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Done Seems to be a good idea! Thanks for giving me a chance to participate in helping newbies formally! --SMS Talk 17:03, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

By removing important information so that it suits your own beliefs, you are vandalizing the article. Second, almost every infobox on Wikipedia includes the denomination and not only the religion, as is the case with George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Nicolas Sarkozy, etc. Also, the Bhutto family is a known Shi'a Muslim family and saying that they are Sunnis is like saying that the Kennedy family is Protestant and the sources that imply otherwise are most probably non-reliable and not fit for an encyclopedia. LahoreKid (talk) 19:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- This is becoming ridiculous. Every one who knows anything about Pakistan knows that the Bhutto family is Shi'a. Leave it alone. LahoreKid (talk) 19:48, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello
Right now I saw your name of Pahari Sahib's page, and came here out of curiosity to learn more about your work. I also saw on your user page the name of your native village, Kot Allah Dad. I feel that you may make it glow wiki-blue! Regards. --Bhadani (talk) 20:04, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Along with some other editors, I have tried my best for the article on Prostitution in Pakistan to meet the B-Class criteria. The content in the article is pretty good enough to be listed under the B-Class, I would like it to be more of a GA-Class article. Please take a look at the article and tell me your expert opinion on it. Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 09:12, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, but we need your help
Thanks for the work that you are contributing via your bot on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan. I would however like you to also suggest some things for the WikiProject. Throughout this week, we will be adding new content and improving on previous content on the WikiProject and highly value your suggestions here. Keep up the good work! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arunreginald (talk • contribs) 16:46, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Talk page banner update. Keeping in line with our recent discussions on the talk page for WP Pakistan, I'd like to tell you that I have finished most of the work on the
{{WP Pakistan}}
template and would need your suggestions. There is a catch though, upon declaring one of the criteria as unmet, the class of the article automatically denotes to Start-Class for normal talk page banners like the{{WPMILHIST}}
banner. In the case of the WP one, I hesitated to make that work as that would imply that all the 183 pages currently denoted as B-Class be demoted to a Start-Class. Would do you reckon I do? And are there any more Pakistani editors I can contact? Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 01:52, 2 May 2008 (UTC)- Please take a look at the talk page banner and address me on the workings of your bot so that I can make it more readily functional with your needs. Please address the concerns I have mentioned here. Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 15:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- I have completed the new functionality. All the articles are now demoted automatically to Start-Class if their B-Class criteria is unfulfilled. Please check out the new functionality to see if that's what you wanted. Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 19:52, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- It works fine here. It's showing Start-Class for uncompleted criteria on B-Class articles. I think you need to purge the cache for the pages or go and check the criteria on other articles with B-Class status that you haven't yet checked in a few days. Come back on my talk page and tell me the results. Cheers. Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 20:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- It appears as should be - perfectly all right (as a Start-Class). I would suggest that you just edit the page and check the results in the preview of your edits. That seems to work for me. Pressing
Ctrl+F5
or the cache purge didn't work for me for some of the articles I have opened recently so I checked the results in the edit previews without saving them (obviously for sake of tests). Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 20:37, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Removing Wikiproject Pakistan tags
Wow, that was quick! But...oops. Looks like I wasn't quick enough. You see, there were a few poems by Muhammad "Allama" Iqbal I had listed (because I didn't know they were his).
As a result, it seems like there are some poems by Iqbal (e.g. Persian Psalms) that are tagged under Wikiproject Pakistan and others (e.g. The Secrets of the Self) that aren't.
I accept responsibility for this awkward situation; I should have checked the articles quicker. So I can do either of two things:
- put back the Wikiproject Pakistan tags on Talk:The Secrets of Selflessness, Talk:The Secrets of the Self, and Talk:What should then be done O people of the East, or
- remove the Wikiproject Pakistan tags on all other articles about Iqbal's poems.
So, do we consider Iqbal's poems to be Pakistani or not? Just let me know, and I will do what is necessary as soon as possible! --Kuaichik (talk) 23:47, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Shawn Green and the ip editor on it
Hi, you probably noticed it already (I saw your comment on the ip's talk page), but you reverted an users addition of discussion to Talk:Shawn Green in this edit and then reported him to AIV for that. I did block him for an hour for the edit-warring that happened afterwards, but please be more careful about things like that, thanks. - Bobet 19:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and when handing out consecutive warnings, it's usually better to wait and give the user a chance to notice them, instead of pasting two or more warnings between two of his edits. It's likely that someone won't see the new messages box until after their next edit. - Bobet 19:26, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
This debate requires your attention, buddy
An admin recently posted a comment on the WP Pakistan NB. You might have seen it. I would need you to tell me your side of the story as I presume this matter is not that difficult to resolve. For the moment, I asked for semi-protection of the pages so no anon. edits are made. This talk, if only you'd participate in it, would lay an end to sectarianistic debates. Hope you understand. Re Frontier Force Regiment
Hi, and thanks for keeping me up to date. I'm getting back into things now after having to severely restrict my editing for a few weeks, and catching up on my backlog!
Have you decided what you want to do with the article? I am happy to work through it with you as a copyeditor, or I can do a GA review now. My personal advice would be to go for the copyedit rather than the review, because if I did do the review I would ask for a copyedit anyway, and unless you could get a copyeditor before a possible GA hold expired, the article would fail. I realise it can take a while to get reviewed - we're always backlogged at GA! - but between us we could get the article ready. I can help you with the nomination too, but if I contribute too much to the article I'm not allowed to review as well. Your call ;) EyeSerenetalk 11:41, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I'll get copyediting over the next few days if that's alright with you, and I'll post comments and questions on the talk page as I go. If I make mistakes, accidentally change the meaning of anything, or make a change you're not happy with, please let me know (and revert if you need to)! Also, please feel free to carry on working on the article yourself ;) Regards, EyeSerenetalk 08:25, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

I've made a start today - I made some fairly major changes to the Origin section, so I'll wait to see what you think before proceeding further (it's easier this way to change it back if you're not happy!) EyeSerenetalk 17:59, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Your valuable time needed for List of Marjas
I would be really thankful, if you spend some of your valuable time for the article List of Marjas, which is facing a recently initiated edit-war. I would like you to play your role in resolving it, and having some standars set for this article. Wassalam NEDian (talk) 19:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Have your say at that page, if you think his attitude towards you is uncivil too. NEDian (talk) 20:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Prime Minister of Pakistan page and some other Pakistan related topics
Hi, I think we should divide the PM page into those who were elected, and those who were caretakers. Create a new page for caretakers.
So Jatoi, Mazari, Miraj Khalid and Soomero who were never elected should have a seperate page.
Also, I want to improve Pakistan Army related topics. You have done a marvalous job on the FF. I hope I can help on the other regiments. I do have information on PA divisions and corps. I created the XI Corps and 7 and 11 Infantry Div pages. Looking to create XXX Corps, I Corps and V Corps pages in the future, as well as 8, 9, 10, 12 and 33 Infantry division pages. I would request your help there, I am not very good in the technical aspects of wiki, so I hope you can help there.
