Help and advice

edit

Hi Sloc melb,

I am glad to hear that you are the course coordinator. It is great that you have linked your course assignment to the ISCB Wikipedia competition. You can find more advice at this URL about running course assignments with Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Student_assignments

It would be great to create a course page as suggested. I am happy to act as an ambassador to help with any queries you may have. Alexbateman (talk) 09:57, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Alexbateman. I do have a few questions. Is it practical to use this page for conversation, or is there a better way? Sloc melb (talk) 11:10, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
I would be happy to discuss in more detail by e-mail. If you google "Alex Bateman EBI" you'll find my details. Alexbateman (talk) 11:48, 24 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/SPAdes (software)

edit

Hello Sloc melb. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "SPAdes (software)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/SPAdes (software)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 21:37, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
