Please do not add or change content, as you did at Byzantine Empire, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 21:10, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi

I've seen your edits on the Byzantine Empire page. My advice is if you get reverted once, to take it to the Talk page to get other people to support you. On the topic of languages, because this is something I've looked into, there was many languages like Illyrian spoken in the regions and this is covered in Languages of the Roman Empire. But due to the amount that were spoken, we are only listing the main ones used by the state as it's not practical and confusing to list them all. Also, just because an emperor came from an area does not mean they used that language (even through the Illyrian emperors were some of the most consequential the empire had) the. Finally, we use secondary sources to support why we write things the way we have, and based on my reading of Rochette Illyrian is not a major language that merits being listed next to Latin. You have knowledge and motivation, which we need for improving the articles here, so I look forward to your future contributions! Biz (talk) 19:33, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Zigali per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zigali. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse. In addition, your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
