August 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Malaysian Indians, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 17:51, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Yamaguchi先生. There are more nearly 10%of Indian population in Pahang and Melaka. Please do refer the demography of those states. Thank you. Sjw642 (talk) 00:23, 5 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you recently removed content from Telugu people without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. — DaxServer (talk to me) 10:55, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you recently removed content from Tamil language without adequately explaining why. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Sacred language. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 17:30, 26 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for March 27 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Malaysian Indians, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

March 2024 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at South America, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Carribean Hindustani a endangered language in South America. Sjw642 (talk) 01:34, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
a non-answer. please stop removing sourced content from articles without at least asking on the talk page first. Remsense 01:37, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
There's no source for this. Not a single country in South America recognize Hindustani as an official language. It's speakers are all now start to use Dutch and English as their mother tongue. Sjw642 (talk) 01:40, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's not a matter of "official" status, we don't care about that as a singular criterion, and that's not what you were editing about. Saying there's no source is blatantly misleading, there are sources attesting to Caribbean Hindustani being spoken in Guyana and Suriname on South America, as well as on both Suriname and Guyana if you wanted to exert yourself a hair. No one wants to take your word for these things, we only care about sources, not original research. And no one wants to clean up after somebody marching though articles removing sourced content for reasons known only to them. Be more careful, please. Remsense 01:48, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

May 2024 edit

Hello, I'm HundenvonPenang. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, George Town, Penang, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. "small minority", according to who? he says, she says, you say? hundenvonPG (talk) 05:48, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Indian Indonesians, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hzh (talk) 21:46, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Majority Indians in Indonesia are Tamils. The small minorities among Indians speak Punjabi, Sindhi and Gujarati. That's all. There are no Telugus and Hindi speakers at all. Sjw642 (talk) 00:53, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
There is a Telugu Association in Indonesia according to Embassy of India in Indonesia - [1]. Nataraja Ramakrishna, a Telugu, was born in Bali. The fact that you changed the population figures from a book without adding another source suggests that you are just making random edits without any real facts to back them up. Give a proper source if you want to edit the article. Hzh (talk) 09:12, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Languages of Malaysia, you may be blocked from editing. Hzh (talk) 23:50, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
