Speedy deletion nomination of Pietro Gallina

edit

Here's what typically happens:

1. An editor, usually a woman or a minority group member, writes a stub for a requested article, including references and assertion of notability. 2. That editor leaves the project, typically because of harassment or because someone deleted one of their articles. 3. A deletionist marks the article for deletion. 4. With no one left to get notifications and defend the stub, it gets railroaded through deletion, or worse, speedy deletion. 5. All edit history about the article is removed, a violation of Wikipedia's transparency mandate. 6. Repeat two million times.--SimoneGallina™ 05:11, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Pietro Gallina, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —0xF8E8 (talk) 15:57, 7 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Simone Gallina. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Pietro Gallina, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. PamD 06:59, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am creating this page, as nobody other did it before; even if I am related; there is no conflict as I am intended to provide PRECISE and detailed information more than other non-related can do. Lack of references is not my fault. I have even tried to edit as identical informations on another person page (which is having no issues linking to other wiki references) but, this one still have. I have Proposed Changes on page (now under sandbox, but no one cares and prefer edit Pokemons...

Solution: create a different user identity, and as non officially related to persona, imput data?

All edit history about the article is removed, a violation of Wikipedia's transparency mandate. 6. Repeat two million times. The article Pietro Gallina has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability: references too vague. Creating editor appears from username to have COI. No article in Italian Wikipedia.

ANSWER: there are no reference of evidence, because when edited on italian wiki they are not accepted; so this is a snake that bites its own tail. BTW, instead to manage to edit area that you are not competent in, try to understand the idiocy of all this:--SimoneGallina™ 10:39, 15 February 2017 (UTC) http://boingboing.net/2017/02/14/watching-wikipedias-extincti.html

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
