Proposed deletion of Susan kuhnhausen

edit

Hello, Shoshanna99,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you:-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Susan kuhnhausen, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion.The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Hi @Shoshanna99: thanks for your efforts in creating Susan kuhnhausen. However, this kind of article may not satisfy Wikipedia policies. Policy states that if someone is notable for only one event, it is unlikely they should have their own Wikipedia article. This is one of the policies that distinguishes Wikipedia, an encyclopedia, from media like the news. All the coverage of Susan Kuhnhausen you've included from reliable sources are related to one event--her killing a hitman hired to kill her. If she is notable for other reasons, you should include those reasons with citations to reliable sources. If this is all she is notable for, then it is pretty likely this page will get deleted.

It can definitely be discouraging to have a page deleted, but hopefully you can view this as a learning experience. Let me know if you have any questions. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:31, 21 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
