September 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Myrtle Beach International Airport, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. VenFlyer98 (talk) 01:42, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not changing or adding content with no evidence, however I am new to Wikipedia and don't really know how to add sources. So I am asking you to stop being annoying and removing the additions, because they are all based off of https://www.flightradar24.com I would be happy if you tell me how to cite that website because it's not very easy. Shayan MB24 (talk) 18:22, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

What you have added, here and RDU, are all charter & relocation flights. For example, college teams may play a game in Raleigh/Durham, but then need to play a game near Myrtle Beach and will charter a flight. These are not sold to the public and are typically never repeated. Other flights (such as the ones between Raleigh & Norfolk), an aircraft may be needed in Norfolk and since Raleigh/Durham has a small base for Delta, Delta will then fly a realignment flight so the aircraft can then go out if Norfolk. Bentheswimmer11 (talk) 00:36, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

As stated in the above reply, you are adding charter flights. You need a better source than FlightRadar. My first reply includes a link that explains everything about sourcing. Thank you! VenFlyer98 (talk) 01:15, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Revert unexplained removals The Banner talk 10:47, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Munich Airport, you may be blocked from editing. Unexplained removals The Banner talk 10:48, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not engaging in disruptive editing. The ones being disruptive are the users who undo my edits, I only removed 3 Turkish locations from Lufthansa that are solely operated by their partner SunExpress. Shayan MB24 (talk) 02:09, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

You are removing text without explanation or sources, That is a form of disruptive editing. The Banner talk 02:15, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I literally explained why I remove them, you can check the Lufthansa website and numerous airline tracking networks, all of Lufthansa’s flights to those 3 locations are operated by SunExpress which are correctly listed. What you are doing should be considered disruptive, because you are misinforming the public with undoing my edits. Shayan MB24 (talk) 05:38, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

But do you have prove of your claims? It is up to you to provide that proof. The Banner talk 11:38, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I think it should be up to you to prove that Lufthansa operates those flights with its own aircraft. Otherwise it should be removed as unsourced material. You think you can run a dictatorship here and do whatever you want? You should prove that Lufthansa operates the flights to Ankara, Bodrum, and Izmir and the I will not touch this page. If you keep being annoying, I might have to report you to wikipedia. Shayan MB24 (talk) 15:58, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

No, sorry. Your are changing it, so it is up to you to prove it. There must by some evidence of your claims, don't you think? The Banner talk 17:44, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Oh my god. You must be the most annoying bot on the internet. How much evidence do you need? Is Flight Aware reliable enough for you? This is the flight to Ankara and Izmir: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DLH9585 https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DLH9581 You can track the flight number in any website or app you would like. All of Lufthansa’s flights to these destinations are operated by SunExpress. You must stop acting like a dictator on this server. Shayan MB24 (talk) 19:05, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

First of all, I am not a bot but a living person. Second, give evidence when you edit. And no, it is not a case that I have to look it up but you have to provide the info in your edit. The Banner talk 00:22, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

IranAir Terminated Destinations edit

Please avoid removing Terminated Destinations of IranAir, those destinations are locations that are were previously served by the Company, Removal of such evidence without source is not acceptable for change, Thank You.

205.222.250.104 (talk) 16:27, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

If they are terminated there is no longer any use for having them. I do not understand the point of having the terminated destinations still listed. I work based off protocols of other wikipedia pages for airline destinations, none of which include terminated destinations. Shayan MB24 (talk) 19:11, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear [Shayan MB24],
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to discuss an issue regarding the inclusion of terminated destinations on airline pages in Wikipedia. I have noticed that you have been removing such information, and I would like to take this opportunity to explain why it is important to include them and how other airlines have approached this matter.
First and foremost, it is vital to acknowledge that including terminated destinations on airline pages contributes to the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the information provided. Wikipedia strives to be an authoritative and reliable source of knowledge, and by documenting the historical record of an airline's past destinations, we ensure that readers have access to a complete and comprehensive view of its operational history.
Furthermore, many other reputable airlines and their respective Wikipedia pages include information about terminated destinations. By doing so, they provide a more holistic picture of the airline's network and its evolution over time. Understanding an airline's past destinations can be valuable for various reasons, such as researching the airline's market strategy, identifying trends in route development, or assessing the airline's historical connectivity.
Including terminated destinations also benefits travelers who rely on Wikipedia for information. Passengers often plan their trips based on the destinations served by an airline. By providing accurate information about past destinations, readers gain insights into the airline's previous connections, which can be helpful for those researching historical routes or analyzing the airline's expansion or contraction patterns.
It is important to note that including terminated destinations does not imply that the airline currently operates to those locations. Instead, it serves as a record of the airline's historical operations and contributes to a comprehensive understanding of its network development. In Wikipedia, we strive to present a balanced view of a subject by incorporating relevant and verified information, and the inclusion of terminated destinations aligns with this goal.
I kindly request that you reconsider the removal of terminated destinations from airline pages and take into account the reasons outlined above. By including this information, we ensure that Wikipedia continues to be a reliable and comprehensive source of knowledge for readers interested in the aviation industry.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your dedication to maintaining the accuracy and quality of Wikipedia content, and I trust that we can find a mutually beneficial solution.
Thank you for your time and I hope we are both on the same page. 72.83.240.33 (talk) 23:05, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your transparency and providing great reasoning behind your editing choices. I can see that you really care about the accuracy on such matters and I will note that when editing various pages. Again thank you for your input. Shayan MB24 (talk) 23:10, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

June 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Maungapohatu. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Edinburgh Airport, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Maungapohatu (talk) 22:52, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Shayan MB24 please find a reference that supports what you say. The reference needs to say that the moscow detail is seasonal. You searching online booking engines is not something you can do to support such detail. You or anyone has no idea why you can buy a ticket on one day and not another. I note that the map on that reference does not indicate that the flight is seasonal. Maungapohatu (talk) 02:43, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Warning about edit warring at Mehrabad International Airport edit

Please note that while I am not currently blocking either of you, you are both engaged in an edit war at Mehrabad International Airport; please take this as a warning to discontinue reverting in this manner, as further edit warring may lead to one of both editors being blocked. Use the article's talk page and come to a consensus before reverting each other further; dispute resolution options such as WP:3O and WP:DRN are available if outside input in needed to help reach a consensus on the material. Shayan MB24 as I pointed out in my summary if you wish to challenge the closure of the RFC see WP:CLOSECHALLENGE. Editting to argue a WP:POINT is inadvisable.
