Unbox Therapy

edit

I have removed material from Unbox Therapy that does not comply with our policy on the biographies of living persons. Biographical material must always be referenced from reliable sources, especially negative material. Negative material that does not comply with that must be immediately removed. Note that the removal does not imply that the information is either true or false.

Please do not reinsert this material unless you can provide reliable citations, and can ensure it is written pursuant to WP:V, WP:NPOV, and WP:NOR. Please review the relevant policies before editing in this regard. Editors should note that failure to follow this policy may result in the removal of editing privileges. Whatever I published is totally real. It's literally on his youtube channel. Why would you remove information which is true. If you don't know then check it for yourself. He has covered about both the things on his youtube channel. Thereby do not remove my information.

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Lewis Hilsenteger. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page. This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello, I'm InfiniteNexus. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Marques Brownlee seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. InfiniteNexus (talk) 14:34, 4 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, User:Sg54sg. You made a request on my talk page. I see that you have made that same request in multiple places - people’s talk pages, the Teahouse, etc - without making it clear what you are talking about. After some research I concluded that you are talking about the article Marques Brownlee (you refer to him as MKBHD). You refer to something Brownlee said about the iphone 6 in 2015, that you disagree with. Our article does not even mention what he said, but you want the article to say he was wrong. And you want us to do this just on your say-so - basically your opinion. You would need to provide published evidence that what you say is correct, if you expect anyone to do anything about it. Without published evidence, your requests are not going to go anywhere and if you add it to the article, it will get reverted. Even if you find something that agrees with you, this material is not going to go into the article, because it never became an important enough issue to mention in his biography. Please drop this idea, stop asking multiple people to add it, and do something more constructive. -- MelanieN (talk) 17:40, 4 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have also responded to their message on my talk page. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:54, 4 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
