Your recent additions to this article have been removed as they contained material attributed to sources that aren't considered reliable. Wikipedia has strict rules about sourcing, especially when living persons are involved. Forum posts, YouTube videos, personal blogs, and other self-published sources are almost never considered reliable. This was your fault edit

I just looked at the references for the first time. You show all but one of them as being by Dan Kindlon, and when I told you this was a problem, you never responded to it. Well, you wrote them wrong (all but one; one of them is by Kindlon himself). You have his name where the name of the author of each of the article's about him is supposed to be, so you made it look like he wrote all of them. —Largo Plazo (talk) 03:19, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

So what should I do?? Sewaneegender (talk) 03:35, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
You still haven't fixed the references. Is the teacher grading you on the quality of the work? ;-P —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:19, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

The correct way forward is to firstly work on the article draft (above) at Articles for Creation. The message at the top of the article tells you what you need to do. In particular remember Wikipedia's 'golden rule'. If Kindlon is an academic, you could also look at the alternative notability guidelines for academics. When you have found independent sources which prove Kindlon is important and/or well known, you're welcome to re-submit the draft to Articles for Creation where another reviewer will take a look at it. Sionk (talk) 19:56, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sewaneegender, I've deleted the article from the article space pending approval from the Articles for Creation submission. It appears that the main holdup is the references - references need to be third-party reliable, published sources, and they need to be formatted correctly so it doesn't look like they're all written by Dan Kindlon. If you're having trouble with the citation templates, don't use them, and just ask for help if you need it.--Cúchullain t/c 20:22, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
