Moscow Metro edit war

I want to let you know that I announced the edit war between you and Elk about the L1/12 line designation in Moscow Metro at the village pump and that a message was written on the talk page. Georgia guy 19:18, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

* L does not stand for "light rail" but, somewhat confusingly, for "Light Metro" — metro lines that are elevated and do not need expensive tunelling (therefore being financially "light"). However, they use the same gauge and rolling stock as "normal" metro lines. 1 – 4 central stations of the Filyovskaya Line – Komintern, Arbatskaya, Smolenskaya and Kievskaya – were originally opened in 1935/37, when they were a branch of Sokolnicheskaya Line. Between 1938 and 1953, they were part of Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line. The stations were closed between 1953 and 1958 and then reopened as part of the (new) Filyovskaya Line. 2 – All 3 stations of the Kakhovskaya Line were built in 1969; they were an integral part of the Zamoskovoretskaya Line until 1983, becoming a branch of it until 1995. In 1995, they were split off from the Zamoskovoretskaya Line and used to form the Kakhovskaya Line.

Thanks for uploading Image:KazanRailTerminalWest.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Moscow Metro. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. My fault, I forgot to put the "~". >_< Yes, new, current pics should be added, and the old ones should be removed. But right now, the most recent one is from September... which isn't current.--XAKxRUSx 01:07, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

New pics could (and should) be added when someone makes them, that's for sure, but the old ones should stay too to illustrate the progress of an ongoing construction. When the building is "open for business" the photos could be parked in some "Construction history" article but as for now they don't seem out of place to me. --Sascha. 06:06, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
