This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Ananya Panday did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Suggestion

edit

Whatever content you want to add on Wikipedia articles has to be verifiable, which means that reliable sources must be able to support the material. Please read: WP:REFBEGIN, WP:RELIABLE and WP:ICTFSOURCES. If you need anymore help, check out Wikipedia:Questions or visit The Help desk for interactive assistance. Thanks, ManaliJain (talk) 14:22, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

83

edit

I suggest you to add plot of 83, If you watched this film. It'll be good for readers and nearly all films have plot section in their article.Success think (talk) 05:19, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

NPOV

edit

Please read WP:NPOV and WP:SYNTH. No need to add names of magazines and sites in the lead. Only a summary is enough in Lead. See MOS:LEAD Venkat TL (talk) 10:41, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

January 2022

edit

Hi SGiaNaksh! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Thalaivii several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Thalaivii, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Venkat TL (talk) 11:33, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

General Sanctions alert

edit
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

recent comment on The Kashmir file talk page

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you.

PS : It will help me to reply and support you on this.

You seem to have missed signing your post under box office details of The Kashmir Files talk page. Please fix. Wikihc (talk) 18:17, 18 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Re:Talk:The Kashmir Files

edit

A few notes regarding your recent post at Ta;k:The Kashmir Files:

More importantly:

  • the issue you raised was already being discussed on the talkpage. Starting redundant sections just makes the page harder to navigate and for the issues harder to address.

And most importantly:

Important Notice

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pallavi Joshi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marathi. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
