Welcome edit

  • Welcome!

Hello, SARFRAZ MANGRAL, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

link to page edit

I see that you have adding links to www.mangral.com on the external links and references section of several sections. That goes against Wikipedia's guideline on external links, and you risk getting considered a spammer. Please link instead to a specific page inside the site containing info about the subject of the article. For example, in Mirpur District I tried to find a specific page using google[1], but I could only find pages that mentioned the district in passing, so I have removed the link completely.

I now have to go to sleep, so I can't look at the rest of your link additions. For now, I suggest that you go to places like Mangral#Notable_Mangral_Rajput_Personalities and that you add specific pages there as references. For example, see my addition here

Please be careful not to use as sources any page that you had originally copied from Wikipedia, as wikipedia articles can't be used as sources on articles. --Enric Naval (talk) 04:35, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mangral edit

I am concerned that the coincidence between your username and a source that you have "sort of" cited recently at Mangral may mean that you are inserting content that you have created yourself off-wiki and that this may be a version of original research. Please can you provide full details of the source that you mentioned. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 18:08, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

July 2013 edit

Hello, I'm MatthewVanitas. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mangral, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Fateh Muhammad Khan Karelvi edit

The article Fateh Muhammad Khan Karelvi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject’s sons and grandson were notable but no evidence he was himself.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
