Updating stats

edit

You are updating which is great but for playoffs sometimes you use -s instead of —s, which are normally used. It's not a big deal but it's a policy, it looks better, and it should be consistent. Thanks. RandySavageFTW (talk) 22:51, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's alt + 0151. Most statistic tables usually have them on one of the previous seasons, you can copy and paste those also. RandySavageFTW (talk) 22:57, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Acetone, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ditto for your edit to Jonathon Blum regarding his first NHL goal. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 19:56, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
It also wasn't his first NHL goal. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 19:58, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In 2012 NHL Entry Draft, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Mark Fraser (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hydrogen chloride

Such data usually look better in a table (I can help with coding that). However, please always cite a reference with such additions. Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 05:39, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it is important to add a reference, especially because pubchem may not be reliable source (I prefer CRC). Here is an example from the dif above (help on tables is here): Materialscientist (talk) 06:01, 8 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Solubility of HCl (g/L) in common solvents[1]
Temperature (°C) 0 20 30 50
Water 823 720 673 596
Methanol 513 470 430
Ethanol 454 410 381
Ether 356 249 195

Edit summary

A suggestion: Please use edit summary - this way others more easily know what you edited. Everyone else uses them - sort of normal operating procedure. A question: What is the source of your information, e.g. for Fe(CO)5. Thanks, --Smokefoot (talk) 00:37, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
